"So, what now?" Alison asked.
One on one? (Closed!)
"We prepare for war." Will says, shrugging. "I normally leave that to the Ares and the Athena kids."
"It could be nothing. Y'know, there are beings that prefer peace over genocide." Alison shrugged. "Might wanna consider it."
"A man must never start a war. But he must always be prepared for it." Will answers.
"You're quoting those Marvel movies. I've been to the future and watched them, you know. Even if I'm from the year 2003, I still get most of the jokes." she said.
He chuckles, "Even still. It's a good line." He shrugs.
"Fair enough."
Will looks at her, "Did you get what I left for you?"
"…. Yes." she said. "But I don't want this to be goodbye. You're a good friend. But at the same time…. I just miss home. I even miss Joe. He was going to propose, to me, I found the ring. But I'm not sure if going home would be a good thing, after running off with the Doctor in his magical box, just because I wanted to see something new." Alison started to cry, trying but failing to hold back tears.
Will hug her gently. "I know you'll make the right choice." he says gently.
"I don't think I ever will be able to make a choice." she said softly.
He places a gentle hand on her shoulder. "It's alright now." He says gently.
"I know it's alright, I just… don't know what to think right now."
Will nods. "Time. Time is what'll help." He says gently.
"Yeah, I know that. I want to keep travelling but I want to be with Joe, and he doesn't want to travel at all. I love him, but I want to follow my dreams."
"Love… it's a difficult thing. I've tried asking Aphrodite." He says, rolling his eyes, "All she did was giggle, you know." He shakes his head. "Anyways, I followed my dreams until I met my special someone, and they changed my entire perspective. If you truly love someone, you'll do anything for them. And you can create new dreams together."
"Who is it that you love then?" Alison asked. "If you're alright with telling me. I don't mean to pry."
He chuckles, blushing a little. "Well… I'm kinda gay." he mutters, pushing some hair from his face.
"So? Does it matter if you love and respect each other?" she asked.
"Well… you saw Nico, correct, the son of Hades. He's the one I adore and love to no end." he says softly.
"Wow, he's a lucky guy to have found someone like you." Alison smiled.
Will chuckles, "He's my everything."
"That's what the Doctor said about… nevermind. How long have you and Nico been together?" she asked.
"Not long. It was after the battle with Gaea that we became a couple."
"Ah, after battles with supernatural beings one always finds love." Alison joked.
Will laughs softly. "Poor kid. He fought so hard, he was practically fading. I had to swoop in and heal him. It was an interesting way to meet."
"Yeah, Joe and I met at University. I gave up a degree in history to go and live with him. He's a doctor, makes enough money to support us, but sometimes I wish I could have finished getting that degree, ha." she said, but was then silent for a few moments until: "It's too quiet. Don't you feel it, that eerie silence?" Alison asked.
"Yeah… It's the silence before the war." he says softly.
"We should go see if they need help. It's not a silence before war, it's the silence of
Something-Really-Bad-Has-Happened-Probably-Involving-Aliens." Alison said in a worried tone.
He nods, "Alright. Let's go." He waves her towards where most of the action is happening.
