"Would you want to come with him? I mean, it's difficult to cope, being away from the people you love." she said. I found this out the hard way, and now I can't ever go back. I don't want anyone else to repeat my mistakes.
One on one? (Closed!)
Nico looks down. "I can't sadly." He shakes his head. "I'm the son of Hades. I go between each camps, Camp Jupiter and Camp Halfblood, maintaining the peace… I'm the prince of the underworld, I have to learn my responsibilities…." He says quietly. "I would have to stay here."
"Will seems to want you around. And it is a time machine, you'd be back exactly when you left. But I respect your wishes, as do I respect Will's. It's your choice." she said.
(Gtg for a bit, brb)
Nico looks at her. "I was at a casino when I was around 12. I was stuck in there for almost 50 years." He rolls his eyes. Then cracks a small smile. "I'll think about it."
(Back!) "Now that sounds like an interesting story. You don't look all that old." she giggled.
He shrugs. "It paused time. Bianca…" He stops talking. He looks down. "We never aged."
"Who's Bianca?" Alison asked.
Nico bites his lip. "She was my sister." He says quietly.
"I'm sorry." Alison said, understanding fully what Nico meant by 'Was'.
He shrugs. "No big deal." He mutters, looking at the ground as they walked.
"It is a big deal. Your family matters." Alison insisted.
Nico looks away. He was never good at expressing emotion, nor how he felt about his sisters death.
"I know you probably don't want to talk about it, but I know what it's like to lose someone. Just remember, you are not alone." Alison said. "Now, let's go defeat a few monsters, shall we?"
Nico looks at her before smiling. "Yeah. Let's."
"Good. It doesn't help to dwell on the past, but you remember it so you can look to the future." Alison said. "So, Will, are we just gonna chuck these at the whatever-they-ares or do something else?" she asked, pointing to the perfume bottles.
Will looks up. "Currently, I'm sorting them into smells. That way, we can bombard them with perfum, which will confuse their smell… I just need to figure out where to put them."
"Right. Never really wore perfume, or makeup, always found it too much of a hassle. Anyways, what have we got together so far?" Alison asked.
"Ambrosia, rose water and… Uh… Love spray? I dunno. The point is, we need to separate it."
"Ambrosia, rose water and… Uh… Love spray? I dunno. The point is, we need to separate it."
"Love spray? Weird." Alison said.
Will nods. "Get to work you two. This is gonna take a while if its only me."
"Yeah, I don't know what half of this stuff is. I mean, even though I am a girl and apparently supposed to know this stuff, I have know idea what's what. Bollocks, really, the whole thing. Joe never cared what I looked like, he was always there for me even when…. you probably don't want me to keep babbling on, sorry." Alison blushed out of embarrassment.
Will and Nico glance at each other, sharing a knowing look. Will smiles softly and Nico snickers softly.
"What? What is it?" Alison asked.
"We know exactly how you feel." Will answers, smiling a little.
"How d'you mean?"
"Will doesn't care if I look like a piece of garbage-" Will cuts Nico off, "Which you aren't!" Nico rolls his eyes. "He only cares about me as a person. When you love someone, you don't have to make yourself stand out for them."
"You two are adorable, you know that?" Alison laughed.
Will and Nico look at each other. Will smiles. "You know why they say. Opposites attract."
