One on one? (Closed!)

Alison followed, to see…. (idk what to put down, low on ideas. Halp.)

The camp was orderly and quick, as if they had done this drill a million times a day. Nico was returning from hiding the younger campers. He waves at Will and will waves back.

"Normal. I'm surprised." Alison said. "Nearly every single time it gets quiet like that…. well, let's just say it isn't good."

Will nods. "We're used to it." He says softly.

"When whatever this is…. well, when it's all over, would you…" Alison hesitated. It might not be her place to ask this.

Will looks at her. "Will I what?" He asks softly.

"Want to travel. With us." she said, gesturing over to where Chiron and the Doctor were chatting away.

Will hesitated. He didn't want to leave camp or Nico behind. "I'm not sure how Nico would take that…" He says softly.

"He could come with, if you want. If he wants to."

He nods. "I go wherever he goes." He says softly.

"Well, looks like you two are getting along quite well, but I'm going to need you to focus." the Doctor said, walking over to them.

Will nods. "Doctor."

"It seems whatever is coming up out of the ground is doing it at a much more rapid rate now that it realizes we are preparing. Also, it does seem to be hostile and I don't think we'll be able to reason with them." he said.

Will nods. "How many casualties do you think we'll take?" He asks softly, his gaze darkening. "I can always call for back up if needed.

"I don't know. Hopefully zero." the Doctor said.

Will nods. "Nico! Have you contacted Reyna?" The son of Hades walks over to them. "Yeah. I've alerted Reyna and Percy is checking in with Sadie and Carter Kane." Will runs a frustrated hand through his hair. "Okay good. What's their ETA?" Nico shrugs. "Could be a day for Reyna and her team since they're taking Pegasi. I'm not sure about the Kane's."

"I can possibly set up some shields with the TARDIS, but that would drain a lot of power and unfortunately there isn't a nearby rift I could use to recharge her, and the shields wouldn't last long then either way, so I wouldn't be able to activate them until the last second." the Doctor said.

Will looks at the Doctor. "We also have our barriers. Hopefully, it can work as a defense, but we might need the TARDIS later on. Does that work, Doctor?" He asks, looking at the other.

"I do believe that is a fair arrangement, yes. But do you have any other defenses, evacuation points, anything you could use to protect the people here?" the Doctor asked.

"Yeah. Remember, We've been through multiple wars." He says casually. A loud roar emits through the sky and Festus lands. "Hey guys!" Leo leaps down off the giant golden dragon to greet his friends. "Another battle?" He asks. Will nods. "You guessed it."

"We aren't preparing for battle, we're going to get everyone out and figure out how to persuade whatever's tunneling up to greet us to go away." the Doctor snapped. "Just once, I wish that just once, everybody lives. I've made mistakes that have cost lives before, this time around I want no deaths, do you hear me?"

Will looks at him. "You don't understand. If they destroy our camp, we have no where to go. This… All of this! Is something that we cannot abandon. In fact a lot of us refuse to abandon our home. We've seen hell and back, literally." He points to Nico who waves. "It's true." Will takes a breath. "Those who wanted to leave have already left. We have Ares, Athena, Poseidon, Hades, Apollo and Artemis on our side. We're not backing down." Nico nods. "The hunters have already arrived."

"Your battles are nothing but petty tantrums compared to what I've seen. If it comes to fighting, then it will be with words, not weapons." the Doctor said. "Doctor, listen. I know that you've…. well, I'm just saying it may become a battle and we need to be ready to fight." Alison said.

Will nods, "You've said they're hostile. This is our home. I've seen this camp in the future and it's not pretty." He says softly. "We're not losing our home just yet."

"I said there is a high chance they are hostile, but I never said they couldn't be reasoned with. Honestly, you humans never understand anything." he said in a dismissive tone.

Will glances at him, then towards the remaining campers. "Camp Halfblood!" He calls. The camp goes quiet. "As you all know, we're facing a threat. The Doctor, Alison, and I are going to try and reason with whatever is coming. But be prepared for a battle!" He calls. The camp clamors, yelling loudly.

"I really should stop trying to save them…." the Doctor mutters.

Will sighs softly, locking eyes with Nico. He walks towards the other. "I need you to run." He whispers. Nico splutters. "Excuse me? I'm a son of Hades. I don't run." Will shakes his head, "J-Just get to the evacuees. Get them out, safe and sound, okay?"

"I'll go with you, but I won't be able to go far, I'll need to get back to the Doctor." Alison said. "Don't worry, Will, I'll make sure Nico doesn't get hurt."

Will nods gratefully. Nico sighs, shaking his head. "If I find you dead I'm going to the underworld and haunting your soul, you understand?" He asks harshly. Will nods setting a kiss to his forehead. "Crystal clear captain, now go." He orders, playfully shoving him away. Nico shakes his head before leading Alison.
