"Ah, cheers." the Doctor said. Suddenly, he walked into a very large, solid object. It was the TARDIS! "Ah, brilliant! And I still have my key!" the Doctor said, opening up the doors. The control room was dark, the TARDIS appeared to be, for lack of a better word, dead.
One on one? (Closed!)
Will looks at him, then the TARDIS. "So… how do we start her back up? If Leo were here he could have it done in seconds… but…"
"No, it seems… her soul, her consciousness has been ripped out." the Doctor said angrily. "The Rani, she…. she's cannibalized my TARDIS."
Wills eyes widen and he looks at the TARDIS. "Okay… Maybe there's something we can do…?" He whispers.
"No, unless we can recover the TARDIS consciousness we can't save her. But you can't destroy one, that would rip a hole in the universe!" the Doctor said.
Will nods, looking around. "She's probably around here somewhere."
"No, the only psychic presence is us two. I'd know if she was here." he said, gently caressing the TARDIS console. "Ah, quite right too. Now then, what have we here?" the Rani asked, stepping into the console room with about twenty guards following.
Will gets into defensive position when he sees Rani. "You." He spits out bitterly.
"Yes, yes, it's me." she said, making mock jazz hands. "I don't have time to chat, and even if I did it wouldn't be with you." she smirked.
(Good morning!)
Will growls. "Well thank the God's. I wouldn't be caught dead having a casual conversation with you." He sneers.
"Security, take them to a holding cell. I'm on a tight schedule, need to see to our special project." the Rani said, walking off. Suddenly they were grabbed by the guards and dragged off to a dark, empty room. The door was locked, and all was quiet. The Doctor could hear his own two hearts thudding at high, angry speeds inside his chest.
(Hi, just got back from church! Wanna RP?)
(Hey, you there? Sorry, I'm probably being really annoying but… well, I wouldn't want to bother you by talking about it…. sorry, a thing happened today, it's nothing. Wanna RP, if you're online?)
(Hey! Sorry I had church, then I had to go get my hair chopped off and dyed and then shopping, prepare for family stuff, etc. Sorry about that!)
Will barely hand any time to process what was happening. He glances around the dark holding cell, igniting his hand.
(Oh, it's fine.)
"It could be worse." the Doctor said.
"Oh please…" Will mutters. "The others!" He cries.
"Yes, the highly unreliable others." the Doctor pointed out. "Well, except maybe Alison."
"Nico is very capable." Will snaps back. "He's saved endless amounts of people without messing with time!" He growls.
"Yeah, right. At least she didn't kill us, a new regeneration would be rather annoying and all. Rassilon only knows what I'd become. But if I was ginger, of course…." the Doctor trailed off.
Will rolls his eyes, pacing nervously. He takes a breath.
"Anyways, the door is deadlock sealed. The sonic wouldn't work. We just have to wait here and hope that Cece, Nico, and Alison find us." the Doctor said. Meanwhile, Cece had been opening up just about every door she could find. There wasn't much in them, just papers or chemicals, nothing especially useful.
Will perks, "Deadlock you say?" He smiles. "This might be our lucky day."
"No, it's a deal where the code rearranges itself 180 times per sec… well, that's one variant, and this is it. Oh, why am I wasting time explaining?" the Docotr asked, mostly to himself.
He chuckles, "Ah, you don't realize we train for this every day." He smiles and begins to mess with the deadlock.
"It's a lock from outer space, one that your civilisation won't see for a thousand years, and you expect to crack it?" the Doctor asked sarcastically. "Honestly, if you do, that's a little too much knowledge for someone from your era to have. Or skill, for that matter."
"Ha. Got it. Thank you Hermes." He pulls away, wiping his brow as the padlock falls off.
"….." the Doctor couldn't speak. This kid… he's got far too advanced knowledge, even for one of the demigods. the Doctor thought.
Will looks at the doctor. "Coming?" He asks, raising a brow. He had the blessing of Hermes, which meant he could cause a lot of trouble and get into places and away from places if needed.
"I would prefer to leave, so yes, I am coming." the Doctor said, exiting the cell.
