Will looks at Nico and smiles faintly. "let's just get this over with." He whispers.

"So, random button pressing or educated guess button pressing?" the Doctor asked. "What's the difference?" Alison responded. "One you admit it's random, the other you pretend to know what you're doing." the Doctor explained.

Will laughs a little at that logic. "Maybe one of us does the logic the other does random?" He asks, smiling a little.

"Ah, I tend to do a mix of both. Generally works out, and I'll assume the lower levels are where we need to go." he said, pressing a few of the buttons. "Down we go!"

(Good morning!)

Will nods and chuckles a little. He looks at Nico. "Still worried about Reyna?" He asks softly. Nico nods. "I've never seen her that desperate… only at the battle of the camp…" He whispers. "And when Gaea was around, but that's it."

They reached the bottom floor. Or what looked like it. "No, no, the ground feels all wrong. There's more beneath us, we just need to find out how to access it. I don't see anymore elevators," the Doctor said, "so that means that there's probably a hidden one somewhere."

Will nods to Nico. "Do your underworld thing." He says cheerfully. Nico nods, stretching out his hand. He feels a faint pull. "This way." He says, continuing to walk.

They came across a broom closet. "Ah, this feels like a Mission Impossible or The Matrix movie." Cece said. "A what movie?" Alison asked. "Oh, a few of the greats…. but not yet. Not for you anyways." the Doctor explained, opening the broom closet and finding only cleaning supplies… and a hidden panel behind them. "Yup, very Matrix." the Doctor agreed. "Passcode required" the panel read. "Ah, deadlock sealed. The sonic won't work on it. I really need to get a setting for that." the Doctor said.

Nico nods, placing his head down. "This is it." He says, "I can sense it goes further." Will nods, his hands tracing the keypad. "Time for the son of Apollo's trick." He chuckles and quickly sets to work on the lock. In a few minor minutes the padlock beeped and unlocked. "Ah, thank you Stoll brothers."

"That was a deadlock seal. How the…" the Doctor trailed off. "Don't question it." Alison said. Suddenly, the broom closet sent them shooting downwards at ungodly high speeds. "MOTHERFUAAHHHHH!!" Cece screamed, unable to finish saying the profanity she had been yelling due to several bottles of bleach falling on to of her. She got up, brushing herself off, and suddenly the elevator reached a jolting stop.

"Demigods have some interesting gifts." Will laughs a little. Nico shrieks as he holds onto Will. Will on the other hand looked dead inside. They exit first, Nico trembling a little before jumping off of Will.

"Ah, well, I've been through worse rides. To be honest, Bessie was never the most reliable vehicle, bloody thing kept breaking down." the Doctor muttered. "On balance, I'd rather have taken the stairs." Alison said, holding back the urge to empty the contents of her stomach. "There weren't any stairs." the Doctor pointed out.

Will stretches, "Well that was refreshing. Better than Nico's shadow travel." He mutters, snickering at the glare Nico threw at him.

"Anyways, where are we?" Alison asked. Lights blinked, the walls were lined with some sort of metal. "This looks different from the rest of the lab." she added.

"Yes it does." Will says. Nico's hand rests on his hip and looks at the others. "So… what's the plan now?" He asks curiously.

"Looking around and getting into trouble. Do I always have to state the obvious?" the Doctor asked. "This is what it's like travelling with him, and there's an ungodly amount of running involved to boot." Alison said, in a stage whisper.

Will and Nico burst out laughing at that, but Nico stops abruptly.

"Oh, do be quiet." the Doctor said.

Nico raises a hand at Will and Will stops. "Nico?" The son of Hades slowly walks forward, his eyes narrowed.

"Anyways, I'm heading off. I'll see you when I see you." the Doctor said. "And when would that be?" Cece asked. "When I see you." the Doctor hurried off to search the floor.

Will and Nico nod to each other. "You go with the Doc." Nico says, "I'll go search with Alison and Cece." Will nods and hurries after the Doctor.

"Anyways, let's go." Alison said. She started down the opposite direction, indicating for them to follow. The Doctor turned around and saw Will. "Why are you here, might I ask?" he said.

"We decided to split up. Cover more ground." He says casually. "Nico is with the girls. I'm with you." He shrugs.

"Ah." the Doctor said. His tone was deadpan, as if it hardly mattered. He came across a door and unlocked it with the sonic screwdriver. An enormous amount of fog spilled out of the doorway, curling around the Doctor's feet in light grey ribbons of the smoky substance.

Will nods and walks beside him, not really saying anything. He squeaks when the door opens and looks at the doctor curiously.

"How exciting, a large ominous portion of fog." the Doctor said. He walked inside, barely.able to see his own hand in front of his face.

Will follows after him, summoning a little light so he could see ahead of him… by five feet.
