She grinned, tying back her hair. “I’ve been working on it.”

He pulled her in for a brief kiss and a side-hug.
Her lips pulled back in a wide smile as she clutched the flowers to her chest. "They're so pretty…", she murmured, looking down at them.
"I know," he shrugged, "Not like you, though…" he smirked.
Fae paused, already guessing what was going to come next with a small smile.
He pressed a kiss to her forehead.
"Love you." Her eyes glimmered with a soft joy. "C'mon, there's something you need to see."
"Yeah?" He held his happy expression, following her lead.
Fae pulled him along down a dirt path in the parks mini forest. "How's everything?"
"Hm… splendid," he answered casually, contentedly. "The happiest I've ever been,"
"I'm glad.", Fae smiled, turning onto a narrower path. "And your tio?"
"Loving his gin and gazpacho," Cruz smiled.
She grinned, pulling him around a tangled patch of briars. "of course."
"Woah, careful!" He dodged thorns, calming down when he was clear of getting snagged.
"Sorry! I do this a lot." She pulled him into a wide clearing ringed by tall trees where flowers carpeted the ground.
(I actually know a place like htis in the middle of a city it's amazing)
"Oh, wow," he looked around quietly. , looking down in fear of stepping on any flowers. His stomach twisted and lurched in instinctive excitement.
The sunlight filtered through the gaps in the interlacing tree branches and a few butterflies flitted around lazily in the tranquil enviromnet. "You like?"
"Yeah," he murmured, doing a slowl 360 turn to take it all in.
She smiled laying down on the soft grass.
He sat down too, slowly, taking her beautiful self in.
Fae took a deep breath and closed her eyes, lying there peacefully.
He moved to lie half beside, half ontop of her, bringing a hand to her hair.
Fae turned her head to look at him, eyes shining.
"I love you." he quietly reminded.
She sunk into the depths of his chocolate eyes. “And I You.”, she whispered back softly, affectionately.
Predictably, he leaned in for a kiss.
Fae turned over in her side so she could’ve kiss him better, pressing her lips to his and cupping his face in her hands.
He pressed a palm against her hip, shutting his eyes.
Fae’s eyes flew open, but she shut them again, realizing that no fear rose up in her this time. She kissed him harder.
"Mm," he exhaled with surprise, moving his hand to her lower back for stabilization. The flowers smelt nice.
