Tay was finishing his violin lessons from inside the music room, when he noticed Vera walking down the halls.
Romantic/Realistic Fiction Roleplay, anyone?
Vera trailed down the hall absentmindedly, mind a hopelessly confusing soup of gobbledygook.
Tay packed his violin up and headed out the door, running after Vera, "Hey! Wait up!"
Vera whirled around, startled, but relaxed when she saw Tay. "Hey.", she greeted with a light blush. "How come you're here so early?"
"I have violin lessons." Tay blushed, catching up to her, "I love the violin."

Vera smiled, tilting her head. "Could you play me something? I've never really seen anyone play in person."
"R-really?" Tay blew his hair out of his face and grinned.
Vera's cheeks glowed pink. "Um, yeah, if that's good with you." Hazy memories of the past night came back to her, making her blush deepen.
Tay took his violin out of the case and held it to his chin, "Any requests?"
For some reason, this made Vera go even redder. She shrugged, attempting –and horribly failing– to fein noncholance. "You choose.", she told him, echoing her words from the night before.
Tay nodded and broke into a smile, "I'll play Sweet Caroline, it's my favorite." he closed his eyes and put the bow to the strings, and started to play, melting into the music.
Vera swayed slightly, a ridiculous smile on her face. Enraptured by Tay’s beautiful playing, she glued her eyes on him, leaning forward and resting her chin on her fist.

Tay made the violin sing, it captured his troubles and pain, but also his love and his joy, and he poured all of it into this song, for Vera to listen to.
Vera could tell how much effort and emotion Tay was putting into his playing as she was spun around in a gentle blaze of harmonious notes, all strung together in what seemed to her like a masterpiece. She sat, mouth hanging slightly open in awe.
Tay finished his song, cheeks pink and flushed and grinning. He took a small bow and put the violin back into the case.

Vera clapped as hard as she could, a ridiculously wide smile stuck fast to her face. “That was amazing! How long have you been playing?”
Tay blushed, "Since I was five." he clicked the lock shut and brushed his hand on the case lovingly, "It was a nice escape from..stuff."
“That was beautiful.”, Vera said earnestly, although worried by the end of his sentence.
"Thanks." Tay patted Vera's head, "Class should start any second now, we should go."
Vera nodded, tensing up ever so slightly when he patted her head.
Tay pulled his backpack on again and walked towards French class when the bell rang.
Vera's first class was Math, so she went there first, slipping into her seat before anyone else got there.
Tay pulled out his French textbook, ready to face another period of totally butchering French words.
(wanna skip to lunch?)
(sure, I don't want to write about Tay going, "Cest la chat min on?"
(I just died laughing omg)
(I love French. Idk why, it's fun tho)
Vera scanned the packed cafeteria for Tay, poeple swarming around her as the screams and shouts of the Lunch Time: a stupid highschool version of the Hunger Games began.
