Sam held up a notepad that they were doodling on. A small flame was drawn on it in curling loops and swirls. "Hey. Do you want to see this design I've been working on? You could use it if you want to,"

Ash glanced at the design. "Well, there's an artist in you after all, Sam."

"What did you think I do in my free time?" Sam scoffed. "Mope around, complaining how dreary the world is- Oh, yeah,"

Lillian runs around the courner. "Hey guys. Sorry I'm late. Had to catch up with my class work." She points to Sam's drawing. "Hey… what's that? Did you draw that?!"

"It's actually pretty cool," Jordan said, smiling.

"Are you in art school? Cuz, you really should be! This is AMAZING!"

Sam's cheeks turned a light shade of dark red. "Shut up," they muttered. "It's good, but it's not that good,"

"You shut up! This is GOOD! Don't be so modest. You would get in!" She turns to Jordan. "Don't you think that they would get in?!"

"Plus, money issues. There's no way a teenager living on their own would be able to scrounge enough money to go to some rich-ass university," Sam said. "Not that I'm complaining. Half of the time there would be spent on how to hold a paintbrush 'the right way,'"

Lillian looked up at them. "We'd all help you! It's whatever YOU want to do. We could make it happen. My folks are already paying for my tuition for the university. I have a bunch of extra money you could use. We could make it happen if this is what you want."

Sam stopped in the middle of their rant, speechless for once. “For real? This… this is too much,”

Jordan nodded, agreeing. "Of course. I'd do what I could too," he said, smiling at them.

"It's really not a problem!" Lillian said with excitement in her eyes and voice. "We are really happy to do it. If it makes YOU happy, it makes US happy. Well, I'm pretty sure the same applies for everyone. Pretty sure." Lillian giggles.

(I've got to go! I'll be back tomorrow. Our family is travelling to London to see our grandmum. Start this again tomorrow?)
