Zoe tapped her plastic spoon on her cup, then dug into her chocolate hazelnut ice cream. "Cheers,"

Ash nodded, mouth already full of the mint chocolate goodness.

Jordan smiled, taking a bite of his peanut butter fudge ice cream. Despite the cold treat, he felt warmth in his chest, and it made his smile a bit wider.

Zoe animatedly continued talking about the time she had tried to set her two friends up on a blind date as a dare. "And then, Jared literally just spilled his spaghetti all over- Oh my God," Her face went white as a ghost.

Ash looked up at her. "What's wrong?"

Zoe got up, staring at a boy in a polo shirt ordering ice cream at the counter. The same boy from the drawing earlier. "Evan," she whispered. It was undecided whether she wanted to hug him or punch him.

Ash looked around wildly. "Evan Hansen?"

"You know him?!" Zoe yelled. She stomped up to Evan. "Two years. Two years! And you couldn't even bother to stop by?!" (can someone play Evan?)

Evan looked up at her, startled. "Um, hey, Zara."

(wait, why did Evan call her by the wrong name? this is after the breakup)

(ooh, fucking harsh Evan) "It's. Zoe. Unbelievable!" Zoe threw her hands up in the air. "Even after you did all that, you don't even remember my name?!"

Lillian walks through the door. "Sorry for being so late. I was working on my project I didn't even notice the time. Oh… bad time? Great. Walked right into the drama."

Jordan stood up, making his way over to Lillian. "Yeah, I kinda don't want to be caught in the middle of this, either," he admitted.

(ooh, fucking harsh Evan) "It's. Zoe. Unbelievable!" Zoe threw her hands up in the air. "Even after you did all that, you don't even remember my name?!"

He shrugged awkwardly. "I'm so sorry. I've had a lot going on."

"Well… um… should we leave them to work it out? Maybe we should all go." She motions to the rest of the group.

"Yeaaah," Ash acquiesced, starting to back away.

"Let's just go," Lillian whispers.

Jordan opened the door slowly, letting everyone out, but keeping an eye on Zoe and Evan just in case things got out of hand.

Zoe sighed. "Just… just… forget about it. You're not even worth my time," She turned around to leave. "Goodbye, Evan,"

Evan grabbed her arm and brought her to face him. "Wait, Zoe. Wait." He bit his lip.

"Oh no," Jordan said, voice low. He lingered at the door.

Lillian grabbed Jordan. "Let's GO!"
