School RP 2 (Closed Stalkers are welcome even if I still don't believe they exist...)

Darren chuckled, "Y-Yeah, magic," his eyes were squeezed shut.

Lillian laughed and she started rubbing up and down his other arm. Maybe this would work?

"It's always the big guys that are afraid of needles. Mr. Football champ wants to cry right now," the nurse joked.
"What if I stabbed you in the arm?! How would you feel?!"

Lillian was still laughing, "I think she would be fine Darren. Most people are."

"No. They're gross and… and… I don't know I lost the word again but they are no fun!"

"I know babe," Lillian consoled him, "I know."

The nurse pulled the needle out and smiled, "You're all done babe. Hopefully the last time I'll have to stick you with one of these,"

Lillian smiled slightly, she hoped so too.

"Okay, I'll run tests on these and the neurology team will look at your head."

Lillian didn't want to speak for him, she was going to be there to comfort him. From this point on.

Darren was led to an MRI room and Lillian was taken with the doctors to watch with them through the glass.

Lillian hated not being able to be with him, but it was just procedure. She watched anxiously.

Darren walked over to the machine, his hand shaking at his side.
"How long has he had that shaky hand?" The doctor asked.

Lillian thought for a moment, "A while now, around the time he was diagnosed I think."

"That's…. interesting actually. I've never seen cancer cause that."
Darren laid down in the bed thing.

"I'm not sure if it was cancer or just him."

"The way it's twitching, I think it's a brain abnormality,"

"Huh, somehow that makes a lot of sense."

A picture of Darren's brain loaded on the screen and the doctor analyzed it carefully.

Lillian saw the brain, but had no idea what anything met. She tapped her fingers against her other arm restlessly.

The doctor motioned for her to come closer to look at it. He pointed to the screen, "This here is why his hand shakes," A little blue blob that indicated where the tumor was and had been eating away at him, "He might have it forever or it might be gone in a few months, just watch to see if it gets worse,"

Lillian nodded, why was it blue? Why was it a blob? Questions that would never be answered. She didn't care if it was there forever, it was kind of cute actually, "So it's not a bad thing?"

"No, just something that happened from brain damage. It's like… his brain is coping with the tumor. It'll either heal or it won't. Doesn't matter really." The doctor shrugged. The computerized X-ray made the screen blue and it was a blob because it's a hole…

Oh, okay. Lillian nodded again, "Okay, so Darren doesn't have cancer anymore? He's okay now?"

"Well, let's see," Another image loaded up of the opposite side of the man's brain. "I don't see any sign of the tumor being active other than this hole so I think it's safe to say he's in remission… It's gone,"

Lillian started beaming, the damn tumor was gone, "That's great!"

"I'll let you deliver the new if you want. Just remember that even if it's just a headache he needs to come in. The cancer cells are still there and if the chemo didn't kill them it could re-congregate."

Lillian nodded quickly, antsy to get to him, "I so want to tell him it's gone."
