Vaughn glared skeptically up at the man then took his hand, getting up slowly. “She jumped in front of the gun, you should get her to a hospital. I was trying to shoot someone else…” he said, breathless.

(To make this less confusing, I'm just going to say right now that this is a dream.)
"Avery," a voice whispered through the darkness.
"Avery."
"Avery, it's me, Thea," the voice turned into one that was familiar, and Avery finally opened her eyes.
Her best friend, Thea Lane, stood before her in the living room of their shared apartment. Sunlight streamed through the windows all around, lighting up the entire room in a bright golden-yellow. Avery sat up from her position on the couch and looked around in confusion.
"Where am I?" she asked, turning to Thea.
Thea smiled and responded, "You're home, goofball."
"Yeah, but I was just…" Avery's voice trailed off as she wondered if Thea would even believe her.
"Just what?" her friend coaxed.
"In the woods."
Thea gave her a strange look. "Uh, no. You've been here the whole time."
"What?" exclaimed Avery. "But… No. No, this isn't real."
"You are correct," said Thea. Except, this time, it wasn't Thea's voice. It was a voice Avery hadn't heard in a long time. Thea's body stretched and changed, growing into the body of the voice. Avery ran to her, embracing her tightly.
"Momma?" Avery choaked. "But you… You're… And Daddy, too…"
"I know, sweetheart, but I have an important message to deliver to you. Remember this: Where the sun rises, there the stars fall."
"What? Momma, what does that mean?"
"I'm sorry, baby girl, but I can't tell you. You and your friends have to figure that out on your own."
"But how?!?"
"Goodbye, my dear," Avery's mother said as she disappeared, and Avery was thrown back into darkness.

Element pulled away from her brother. "Am I dead, Ben?" she whispered. Ben smiled.
"No, Bumble Bee. But your hurt real bad. I came her to save you from the pain while you wake up. But your not dead." He said gently. Element hung her head. She almost wished she was dead. All this stuff with The Flame, it was stressful. And then she had to find Avery and Dylan, and that stupid man that wouldn't tell her anything.
"Ben, I really don't know if I wanna wake up." She whispered, and Ben sighed.
"I know. But Bumble Bee, you save lives. You do things that no one could ever dream of. You know things that humans can't even comprehend. They need you, Ari." He said, putting his hands on her shoulders.
Dylan gave him a cold stare, "Save it. Come with me, and I may not rip tour arms off. Even if it takes me all day, you bet your ass I will."

“A mother and her child will die in about fifteen minutes from now if I go with you. You need to let me do my job if you don’t want that blood on your hands,” Vaughn snapped, his fists clenched. “Whatever the hell you want from me, you can find me later in the abandoned gas station just outside of town.”
Ari looked up. "They killed you Ben. How could you have so much pity on them?" she asked. Ben smiled weakly.
"Because not all of them are bad." He said. Ari smiled.
"I guess your right. But Ben, I have another problem." She said, and she pulled him to the ground so that they were both sitting in the grass, legs crossed and facing each other. "Can you tell me anything about The Flame?" Ari asked. Ben's eyes filled with fire.
"Why do you need to know about The Flame? Whats going on?" he asked.
"They're rising again." Ari said gravely.

(A'right. Someone needs to wake Avery up. Shake her, say her name, or whatever. cough-cough Dylan cough-cough ;P Lol, jk. It doesn't really matter; I'll just wake her up myself of no one else does.)
Dylan about snapped, a dagger in his voice again, "I care not for their petty lives! You have hell to pay!" He was about to strike him down right there, but a small bit of concious horror held him back. He stepped back.
I am not right in the head at all.
He struggled internally for a minute, then resolved himself, "I"m coming with you."
(Maybe wake her up as she get's laid down next to Oscar? he can explain?)

Avery's eyes blinked open, and she found herself staring at the roof of a car.
"Oscar? Is that you?" she groaned.
"G'day, Avery. Glad to see you're finally awake," said the car.
"Oh, thank goodness," Avery sighed in relief. She sat up and looked out the window. "Where are Element and Dylan?"
"I don't recall Element ever coming back here, but Dylan is the one who brought you to me. I believe he was with another man about to go do something."
"Do you have any audio recorded of after he brought me back?"
"Yes."
"Play it, please."
Oscar played the conversation between Dylan and the other man, while Avery looked out the window for them and listened. When it was finished, she put her head in her hands and groaned.
"This is not good. I need to find Element and catch up to them."

“You’re joking right?” Vaughn actually laughed, then shut his mouth moments later. “You don’t need to be getting into this if you dont care about their lives. It would be a pointless task to do.”

Dylan shook his head, coming back to his senses, "I do care," he said quickly, "and I don't plan on letting you walk away that easily. We sort out this family issue, and then have a nice, long chat." He formed two daggers, "Let's go."

(So, basically, Avery/Aspect and Lenny/Element met Dylan–and someone else who has disappeared– and they are now looking for a group/man(?) called the Flame. A stone called the Galaxy Stone gave Dylan a new power, and he also might be an alien. Now, this guy, Vaughn, is trying to stop some other guy from hurting his (the other guy's) wife and toddler, and Dylan is going with. Element is unconscious, and Avery doesn't really know where anyone is or what to do.)
(Also, is Polaris a guy or girl?)
( Element has three names! I know thats confusing, sorry! Lenny is her earth name, Element is her hero name, and Ari is her REAL name, but nobody knows that. Sorry, just had to clarify. And The Flame is a group! Maybe Avery should leave Dylan and go to find E? Just a thought! I mean, she is bleeding and unconscious… )

Ben growled. "The Flame is evil. I trust you know how they were formed, and what their after. But you cannot EVER let them take all the stones. The earth, and the sun, and the entire universe will burn. They think that they will survive and create a new earth, but their wrong. They'll die too. You have to find The Time Stone first. Its one of the most important of all. After that, go from there. Ari, your about to wake up. Avery and Dylan need you. But let me tell you this," he said, and he grabbed her hands. "Quando o sol nasce, as estrelas caem." He whispered. Ari felt herself fading. She began to feel pain in her head. She was waking up. She reached out and hugged her brother, tears streaming down her face.
"I love you Ben!" she said, as she cried into his shoulder. "I don't want to leave you!" Ben hugged her back, and stroked her hair.
"I love you so much Bumble Bee. I love you so much. You'll see me again, I promise." He pulled away, and kissed her now aching head. "I love you Bumble Bee. I love you Ari!" he cried, and then he was gone. And Ari was in pain.

"Okay, Oscar, I'm going to find Lenny," Avery said, starting to get out of the car. "Actually, you know what? You're going to help me."
"A'right. And how am I going to that?" the car asked.
Avery rolled her eyes. Sometimes having a talking car, especially a sassy talking car, was annoying. "You're going to search for her. You have radar, and you know the frequency she vibrates at. Well, you'd better know, anyway. You're programmed to record any frequency that comes near you."
"Ah, right. Well, off we go, then."
It didn't take long for Oscar to find Lenny, who was still in the woods and lying on the ground, unconscious. Avery jumped out of the car and ran to her, checking her over for wounds. She had a gash on her head, but that was the only thing Avery could find. Avery grabbed a roll of bandages from the trunk of the car and wrapped it tightly around Lenny's head, trying to stop the bleeding. As she wrapped Lenny's head, Avery whispered to her to wake up.
"Lenny. Lenny, wake up. It's me, Avery. C'mon, Lenny, you've gotta wake up. We need you for this mission."

Vaughn huffed sharply. “Come on then. Just stay out of my way.” He stuffed the pistol into his waist band and crossed the road, walking at a brisk pace.
"BEN!" Element shrieked, and she sat up at full force. "Oh geez." She gripped her head and fell back down again. "He did say it would hurt…" she groaned.

"Lenny! Oh, thank goodness, you're awake!" Avery shouted, pulling the younger girl into a hug. "Ooh, ouch! Ouch ouch ouch!" She let go and gripped her bleeding shoulder, clenching her eyes closed and grimacing.
