Cicada glanced up at Duke, "Can I please knock her out? From what I can see she isn't useful to us. Besides the hit list."

Duke hesitated. "You sure?"

Victoria just stood there silently, staring at Duke.

Cicada nodded, "Unless she starts talking, then yeah."

Duke bit his lip and looked back at her, his facial expression resembling that of a lost puppy. "Uh….would you prefer if I killed you or would you rather not die?"

Victoria remained silent. She honestly didn’t care what they did with her. And nobody at ‘home’ would, either.

Cicada rolled her eyes. The boss had a soft spot for this girl, no biggie. She would do whatever he said. At least a majority of the time, she thought as she elbowed the girl at a pressure point that should knock her out. Not kill, just incapacitate.

"DUDE!" Duke gestured to Victoria, who was now motionless on the ground. "Why'd you do that?"

Victoria remained motionless on the ground, her limbs splayed out as a result of her fall.

Cicada shrugged, "We were getting nowhere. Also we can now restrain her properly, ya know. Less chance of escape? I honestly don't know, just kind of did it."

Duke looked at her. "Restrain. Yourself. Lordy…"

Cicada sighed, "Sorry Duke. I thought it was for the best."

Jason looked at the limp Victoria, then at Cicada and Duke, “Does this sort of stuff happen a lot here?”

"I guess." He shot a glance at Cicada. "Tie her up or something, Jay."

Cicada looked at Jason, "Not often."

“Ah.” Jason nodded, “So what do you plan on doing with her? Rob her?”

"She's got nothing valuable according to Cicada." He stated. "So probably not that."

Cicada looked smug, "Maybe we should try to get her to join us? She didn't seem to care what we did with her."

"Maybe…"

Cicada looked over at Duke, "It might make a certain person very happy."

She smiled innocently.

"Jason? He barely knows her!"

“Indeed,” Jason smirked, “I would offer a high-five but that’s not my thing.”

Cicada rolled her eyes, "I'm talking about you Duke."
