"Okay. Don't you have to stir it or something in the meantime?"

"Yup." She pulled out a spatula.

"Okay, so maybe you should start stirring in the other stuff then I'll add some flour."

"Yeah." She poured the egg butter mixture into the bigger bowl and started incorperating it all.

Soon Gij added all of the flour in awkwardly close quarters since he needed to be close to the bowl to avoid a mess.

(I gtg dammit)
Sia's cheeks flushed slightly. They were really close. Wait, why was that bothering her?

Gij set the bowl down and looked at her. Sia could count the dimples on his cheeks. "Are you going to stir it? Or… are your arms getting tired?"

Gij set the bowl down and looked at her. Sia could count the dimples on his cheeks. "Are you going to stir it? Or… are your arms getting tired?"

(I HAVE ARRIVED)
"What?" Sia snapped out of it and started stirring.

(ooOOH LAVY YAY)

"Oh… nothing." Gij grinned a little and stepped away from her, finally noticing how close he was.

Sia started stirring, cheeks still obviously pink.

Gij looked away sheepishly. "Sorry. I didn't realize how close I was."

"It's okay." Sia murmured.

Gij rubbed the back of his head and felt his face heat up. I'm such an idiot… oh god…

Sia stirred the dough, not really concentrating. He's cute when he smiles.
(Sorry, I gotta ask. Am I writing this alright? I have never dealt with feelings like this)

Gij fought the smile off of his face and concentrated on Sobex who was stalking the bag of flour.

And his eyes are a nice shade of green. Kind of a jade green.

Sobex wiggled forward and nibbled on the papery skin of the bag. Gij took no notice, and instead enjoyed the shape of Sia's cheeks and eyes in his mind's eye. Never has he seen her that up close…

Sia studied the slight freckling on the bridge of his nose.

(she has vitiligo? i didn't know that)

Of course, the patches of skin on her face didn't disturb him a bit. It just makes her all the more beautiful…

Sia blinked. Oh gosh, have I been staring at him this whole time?

Gij blinked back at her. "Um…" He too had been staring blankly at her face.

Sia's eyes darted around and settled on Sobex. "Hey! Get your head out of there!"

Sobex looked at her and yapped confusedly. He didn't have his head in the bag at all but was just sniffing at the paper.

"Whoops. Thought I saw you're head in there." Sia blushed and looked down.

Sobex yapped and threw himself at the bag, which spilt flour everywhere.
