"I know. But you used to be so good at it." Arie reached into her shoulder bag and pulled out a hoodie.
"Perhaps you'll accept help from me if you will not from Verrian."

Ben walked down to the sidewalk and noticed two people seemingly fighting. He sighed and started walking over to where they all were.

Rivian had always had a soft spot for Arie, she had been there for as long as he could remember, and he found it hard to say no to her.
"Fine." He sighed. "I can't help it that I don't like that peacock."

group

"Hardly anyone can blame you. Still, he is a formidable being." Arie sighed.
"I remember a time when you would have tried to cut him down where he stood. I'm glad you've gotten over your temper." Arie heard something. Turning, she saw someone walking towards their group.
"Perhaps it is best to leave."

"Believe me, I still want to see him bleed at my feet. But a lady shouldn't witness such a scene." He looked up, spotting the same figure as Arie. "Agreed, my car is here anyway. Would you care for a ride, Arie? I'm dropping this little fledgling home in the process."

group

Arie laughed.
"Perhaps you have not changed so must after all. Yes, I would love a ride home. I'm sure you still know where it is."

"How could I forget? You'd never let me hear the end of it if I did." He rolled his eyes, striding over to his car and opening one of the back doors. "Ladies first."
As the sunlight hit his face, he winced a little, but kept a calm composure.

Calla got into the car and sat down without a word. She had no clue what these two's relationship with each other was or how and how long they knew each other.

Arie gracefully sat down in the car.
"You're such a gentle man." Arie put emphasis on man.

"Of course I'm a man, my lady, what else would I be?"
Despite having known Arie for quite some time, the only thing he never quite understood was her humor. But then again, she was a lot younger than him, so it was probably humor that he was yet to learn. He closed the door and got into the driver's seat. The blackout window in front of him felt like painkillers to a headache.
"Where is that I am taking you little one?" He asked the newly turned girl. He had completely forgotten to ask for her name!

group

"Perhaps a creature of the night?" Arie giggled. She knew Rivian did not understand her humor, and she was always cracking jokes around him.

Ben saw them all get into the car then he kept walking down the street. He held up his umbrella and looked through his sunglasses. Thinking only of getting home and relaxing with his cat.

group

"Perhaps, before you take me home, we could stop for something to eat? It's been a while since I've eaten."

(Oh dear, I do love making m characters assholes.)

(I wish I could pull that off like you)

"And where do you suggest we go?" Rivian had to hold back an annoyed sigh as he turned the key in the ignition and slowly pulled away from the curb.

It takes being an asshole to write one, so I'm very good at it.//

"I hunt in the slums. There are many who will go unmissed and quickly forgotten there."

group

"Sounds like a plan to me." Rivian agreed. "It also gives the little lady a chance to see what her new life entails. She will also need her fill for today as I'm betting she hasn't eaten for some time?"

"Um, no. I haven't really eaten at all yet." She replied looking at the two of them.

group

"Well then, perhaps we should show her how to hunt."

group
@The-Magician group

"I think we should leave the hunting to you, Arie. You always were the better hunter of us both." Rivian kept his eyes on the road but let out a soft chuckle.

group

"It's like I always say, 'Terrified blood tastes so much sweeter." Arie laughed.
"Not that you were ever good at torture."

group
@The-Magician group

"I have the basement to prove otherwise." He turned around quickly to give Arie a wink before turning his attention back to the road. "I'll have you know that I'm so good at torture that I had one man practically begging for me to hurt him. That was an interesting day to say the least."

group

"I see! You've gotten better." Arie winked.

"I learned only from the best." Rivian laughed a little louder, then had to force himself to stop for it was hurting his cheeks and stomach. They neared the slums, and already Rivian could see street rats that certainly wouldn't be missed. "Have you picked out your meal?" he asked both of the girls.

group

"I see a delectable woman, right over there, in the alley. She's young."

group
@The-Magician group

"Always the women with you." Rivian tutted, taking a left into a shaded backstreet. From there he parked, and could see the woman Arie had picked out clearly. "Watch and learn little fledgling, Arie is one of the cleanest and most efficient hunters I know."

Verrian plugged in his headphones, walking over to his motorcycle and starting it. ~They'll bust your kneecaps~ Played through his headphones as he began to drive, heading downtown towards where there were a few fighting rings. He was hungry.

group

"Unless I decide to have some fun." Arie put her hands in the air.
"Tonight, though, this is all business." Stepping out of the car, Arie made her way towards the woman.
"Who are you?" She asked wearily.
"Oh, no one." Arie snapped the woman's neck discreetly. Acting as if she were helping the woman up, she said,
"Grandma, perhaps it is time to come home." No one had noticed the woman was dead. Arie brought the woman to the car and gently sent her down in the seat.
