"Uhhh." Artemis looked up at the ceiling still avoiding looking at Asashi. "Ma used to affectionately mention a guy name Yori. Might be the same person.
(I'm working out Arty's face right now. Is Ashlyn asian too or what?)
“I vaguely remember her calling him Yori,” Asashi replied and looked at Artemis.
"Dam." She turned and face Asashi. Now that she looked, she could the similarity between them and Ashlyn. "So what happened to your dad?"
“I think he left after a few years because she was too invested in her work, she didn’t have time for her family,” Asashi explained.
Artemis nodded. "Sounds about right." She glanced down at the Data intaker. "We should delete the evidence."
Asashi nodded, “You do that, but what now?”
Artemis thumped her head against the wall. "How. Should I. Know?!"
Asashi shrugged, “I was just asking.”
Artemis took a deep breath. Now was not the time to panic. She was a hunter. A spy. Grown up. She had to get a grip on herself.
"My gosh, this is so much to take in."

Asashi nodded, “Yeah,” Asashi sighed and sat cross legged, “So, I haven’t heard much about the special battle they’re having tonight, why is it so special?”
"Your fighting every 1st and 2nd winner from the past week. Winner gets a week or something in one of the GM's suites." Artemis sat down on the floor in front of the door. "Best of the best kind of thing."
“Nice, but would it be easier for us to talk here or in one of the suites?” Asashi asked. He needed to get this figured out, but it seemed the battle was about to start.
"I don't know. I'd think either place is bugged, but I can fix that." Artemis stood up.
Asashi shrugged, “Then I guess I’ll just win. If both are bugged, might as well choose the more comfortable one.”
She nodded. "Yeah. Hold on." She grabbed a data pad and pulled up the security settings. "Let's see, I can wipe the audio and visual from the past half hour. That way they just think I stormed off after you insulted mom."
“Good,” Asashi sighed and shook his head, “Of all the people.”
She looked up. "Hell, I can't believe we're siblings. I don't think dad even knows ma was married before."
“You should probably go, any longer and it’ll be suspicious. Also, make sure you still tease me, or that’ll be even more suspicious.”
"Right." She leaned forward. "Good luck." She murmured. She pulled back and put a smirk on her face. "Have fun in the 'rena Sashi." She sauntered off to the high box.
