"Have fun with that," Aliana said twisting the straps of her bag. If she was to be truthful she still didn't know the full story either. The only thing anyone had ever told is that she just showed up one day when she was still a baby, and her family took her in. Aliana wanted to know, but any questions she had got shut down immediately.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta nodded. "Hmm." He replied. "I will." He smirked lightly at her.

@ShadeStar

Aliana rolled her eyes before feeling bad for doing so, “Anything else you might have forgotten?”

@ElderGod-Icefire

"I don't know." Hatta replied with an artful shrug. "I might have forgotten quite a lot, but I don't remember."

@ShadeStar

"Of course you don't," Aliana responded, "Because we won't know if you've forgotten until you remember."

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Exactly." Hatta replied with a grin. "The madness must be catching today." He winked, still walking.

@ShadeStar

"More like reasoning," Aliana fired back though her voice clearly teasing, "Though I do say I've been quite mad as of late."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta chuckled. "Mm, i see." He replied. "Like I said. Must be contagious."

@ShadeStar

Aliana laughed, "That must be it."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta winked at her, and kept walking down the road, whistling. "Find the maze, find the well, find the sword." He mumbled.

@ShadeStar

Aliana made a slight hum and continued walking with him. She hoped that the maze would come soon.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta made an abrupt turn off the road. "Come on." He said over his shoulder.

@ShadeStar

Aliana stumbled a little before rushing to catch up with him, "Is the maze this way?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta nodded. "Yup." he replied with a grin. "At least, I think so."

@ShadeStar

"You think so," Aliana repeated slowly coming to a slight halt before going to catch up with him again, "You're not positive?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

"When am I ever sure about something, Aliana?" Hatta asked, raising an eyebrow.

@ShadeStar

"Never," Aliana said letting a slight sigh out, "I should know better than now, sorry."

@ElderGod-Icefire

"It's fine." Hatta replied with a shrug. "Don't worry too much about it."

@ShadeStar

"I, uh, won't," Aliana had never heard that before. She brushed it off and continued to walk.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta smirked a little. "Come on." he kept moving through the woods, brushing branches out of his way.

@ShadeStar

Aliana couldn't read why he was smirking but followed on defending herself from the branches. She had to keep the branches out of her way and not get whopped by the branches Hatta was letting go of.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta kept moving. Eventually, they hit a little stone path that was mostly overgrown by grass.

@ShadeStar

Aliana heard her shoes click a little as they hit the stone. She looked to Hatta, "Does this mean the maze is close?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

He nodded. "Yes. This is the beginning of the pathway." he replied.

@ShadeStar

"Great!" Aliana grinned over at Hatta. Letting her feet hit the stone a few more times than necessary, "Let's do this."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta smiled a little. "Yes." he replied. "It might take a while longer before we actually reach the maze."

@ShadeStar

"That's fine," Aliana responded, "At least we know we're on the right path."

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Yes. The maze…I have only been in it twice, but it changes every time I'm in it." Hatta said.

@ShadeStar

Aliana looked up at him, "You never mentioned that. This is going to be interesting. Can I ask what's the most danger you've been in while in the maze?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta shrugged. "Uhm…definitely the time the tigers chased me. That was fun." he replied with another one of his manic, crazy grins.
