Alana let out a small sound of frustration, "Why won't it show up?"

"It's not easy." He replied. "It never has been. If everyone could get there, the world would be very different."
"I understand," Aliana sighed, "But doesn't the well understand were trying to save the world?"
"That's not how the well works." Hatta replied with a shrug.
"I really wish that's how it worked," Aliana responded with a wishful sigh.
"Well, it isn't." He replied calmly. He sighed softly, running a hand through his hair.
Alana grabbed the straps of her backpack, "How long do you think it'll take to find it?"
"I don't know." Hatta said almost exasperatedly. "Sorry."
"Oh it's fine!" Aliana quickly responded, "I was just curious that's all!"
Hatta nodded, and kept walking. "Okay. Just…I don't know how long it'll take, or why it doesn't appear now."
"Maybe we could get to know each other while we wish?" Aliens suggested a light dusting of pink on her cheeks, "Or maybe not. Sorry that was a stupid suggestion."
"No, it's fine. Sounds like a good idea, though." Hatta replied.
"Oh," Aliana was surprised he agreed, "Well, um, can I ask why you really like hats?"
Hatta blinked several times. "Oh. I…" he thought for a moment. "It's what I was raised for. I'm a hatter. I make hats."
"That makes sense," Aliana said before sheepishly adding, "Sorry I was just really curious. You can ask me a question now."
Hatta shrugged. "It's fine. Uhm…tell me something about you." he replied.
"Well um," Aliana thought for a moment, "I like to draw my happy moments in a notebook."
Hatta nodded. "Oh. That's cool." he replied with a small smile, glancing over at her.
Aliana gave a little smile glad he didn't think she was weird or something, "I guess. Now you tell me something about yourself."
"Uhm…" Hatta thought for a moment. "Hm. I don't know. I like tea." he replied with a smirk.
Aliana reached to lightly slap his arm, but thought better of it retracting her arm back, "Anyone who knows about you knows you like tea."
Hatta grinned crookedly. "Mm. Good." he replied with a laugh.
"Soo," Aliana continued, "You should tell me something that isn't common knowledge."
"Fine. I like to read." Hatta replied with a smirk.
"I never would have guessed," Aliana had a slight sarcastic tone to her voice, "But I suppose it'll do."
Hatta smirked a little. "Oh? You wouldn't have?" he replied, looking over at her.
"Never," Aliana decided to play his game, "You enjoying reading came from nowhere just like your book from last night."
Hatta smirked. "What, you mean out of my hat?" he took off his hat and bowed to her.
Aliana grinned as she watched him stopping her movement, "Yes! Out of that very hat!"
Hatta winked, and put it back on. "But of course, miss Aliana." he replied.
