A few minutes passed, and she no longer heard the hum of the two men’s voices.

She stopped in her tracks and looked at the door. "Havenwood?" She called, anxious.

No response…

Elise opened the door hesitantly. There was no one she could see. "Havenwood?" She called out again.

The forest stood silent and eerie. Neither of the Gods were in sight.

"Crap." Making sure that she was holding Thelisi tight and the locket was secured around her neck, she set off into the most plausible direction: The valley. "We're going on an adventure, little bugger." She mumbled to the infant.

Thelisi giggled wildly and waved his lil hands.
Neither of the Gods were down towards the valley.

"Athena!" Elise snapped her fingers in realization, heading for the cliff. "She'll know."

Thelisi cooed in agreement as they walked.

Athena sighed. "I know what you're going to ask. And it's their business where they are."
"But what are they doing?"
"That's their business too." Athena shook her head. "You're a wonderful woman, Elise, but I cannot tell you everything."
Elise nodded respectfully and turned. "Guess we've gotta go looking, Thelisi."

Thelisi cooed, which made Elise remember her and Havenwood's plan for the night. Kill two birds with one stone…

Elise turned around, headed for the next most plausible place: Zeus's palace. She shivered.

Elise handed over Thelisi to Athena. "Could you…watch him, please? Just for a little bit." She pleaded. Athena nodded.
"Of course."
Elise turned gratefully, heading towards the next most plausible place: Zeus's palace. She shivered.

Seeing the white pillars, she shivered again. It was so…vast.

There was no sign of any other God. There was distant movement up at the Palace, though.

Rolling her shoulders, she entered under the massive arch that was the doorway, entering the common room.

The common room was empty, but there was distinct, soft talking in the dining room. It sounded to be three or four people talking at once, but the doors were closed, so she couldn't make out what they were saying, or whose voices were talking.

She edged closer to the dining room door - which was ginormous - and laid down to lie underneath the crack in the door, to listen.

She couldn't hear the finer things of the conversation, but she could make out Havenwood's, Zeus' Hera's and a fourth voice she couldn't place a name on but could recognize as the visitor that picked Havenwood up.
