“Bugger.” She patted his head lovingly.

Thelisi looked up at her and opened his mouth with a full laugh.
“Certainly happy, isn’t he?”

"That he is." Elise smiled down at her child.

Apollo rose with a yawn. “I’m gonna go. Have fun with Thelisi.”

"Okay." She waved him off and turned back to Havenwood, nudging him gently.

Havenwood grunted and stirred. “Mhmmm?”

"Your twin just came and went and you didn't even open your eyes." She raises an eyebrow teasingly.

Havenwood grunted and rolled over on his other side. “Yeah? And?”

Elise shook her head. "Alright, sleepyhead." She smiled.

Havenwood wiggled underneath the sheets of the bed with a faint groan. “I don’t know why I’m so t-t-tiiired….” He pronounced ‘tired’ with a yawn.

"You're probably just exhausted from staying up all night for the past few days." She tilted her head.

Havenwood hummed sleepily in agreement into a pillow. “You’re probably right…”

"Perhaps this one'll wake you up." Elise smiled, placing Thelisi in the crook of Havenwood's arm.

Thelisi leaned against his father, heaving with laughter.
Havenwood curled into the smol, drifting off slowly. “So warm…”

Elise laughed softly, lying down next to him.

Thelisi relaxed into his father, staring curiously at his father’s handsome, sleeping profile.
Havenwood snored gently.

Elise rolled her eyes and watched Thelisi climb over Havenwood's body, catching him whenever he fell off.

Havenwood grunted gently at his smol’s movements but didn’t stir. He snored on.
Thelisi looked at her with a happy giggle, curling his little hands up into fists.

Elise laughed and patted him on the head.

Thelisi falls off of the top of Havenwood's head, bonking his nose on the way down. Elise picks Thelisi up gently and can't help but laugh a little.

Havenwood gave a light start and glanced over. “His he okay?” He asked quickly, shifting a little.

Havenwood chuckled and laid on his shoulder facing the pair. “He sure did.”

Two laughing pairs of bright green eyes stared into one of silver. "Little bugger." Elise booped both of their noses.

Havenwood laughed. “How come you started calling him that? It’s cute.”

"Common term for infants in the city." She booped Thelisi's nose again. "Besides, he is. And you're right, it is cute."

Havenwood giggled. “City terms are hilarious.”
