Havenwood laughed again and grinned at her. “You still miss it, huh?”

"A little. But I would choose here over there any day - by far." She grins back.

Havenwood sighed gently in content but asked nevertheless, “Really? I thought you hated it here!”

Elise giggled and buried her head in his chest. "I don't, and you know it."

Havenwood giggled too. “I do now, huh?”

"You should." A grin slowly spread across her face.

Havenwood grinned brightly at her. “So I do.”

She smiled with relief. "I love you."

Havenwood beamed back. “I love you too.”

“I know.” She breathed in deeply.

Havenwood exhaled with her with a smile. “You’re so cute.”

“Am I really?” She hides a smile.

Havenwood booped her nose. “You sure are. Both of you are.” He smiled warmly down at his smol.

Elise giggled, holding the both of them close.

Havenwood wrapped his long arms around the pair, setting his head back down. “This is great. Just us.”

"Just us." She repeated, grinning.

“Just us,” Havenwood repeated a third time in a whisper.

Elise smiled, resting her head against his chest with a grin. "I love you," She says again in a sing-song voice.

Thelisi reached up between his parents, waving his smol hands.

Elise poked the smol gently, laughing softly.

Thelisi made a squeak of shock, then continued giggling.
