“aTHE!!!” He screeched louder than before, raising his little arms.

"I was being sarcastic." She sighed and peered down at the pair of bright green eyes.

Thelisi looked close to tears as he waved his lil arms around. “ATHEEEE!”

"What do you want, bugger? Do you need your diaper changed?" Athena asked.

Thelisi raised his arms and screeched incoherently.

"Alrighty, I suppose you do need your diaper changed." Athena sighed and quickly changed his diaper. "You good now?"

His diaper didn’t need changed. He kept screaming.

"I speculate you just want attention." Athena raised an eyebrow, cradling the child.

Thelisi reached up for Athena’s face, falling quiet. “Athe.”

"Finally. Athe it is." Athena breathed a sigh of relief.

“Athe!” Thelisi went back to giggling.

"Alrighty." Athena sighed. "Perhaps 'hello' would be a good place to start. Hello."

Thelisi blinked up at her. “Athe!”

"Hello." Athena repeated.

“Athe!” Thelisi screeched in laughter.

"Athe it is, I suppose." Athena peered down at the infant.

Thelisi wiggled happily in her arms, reaching up for the owl on her helm. “Ooooowwwl!”

Athena blinked in surprise and took off the helmet. "You're right. Owl."

"OOOOWwWWWWWLLllLL!!" He giggled.

"Geez, someone's excited about his owl." Athena mumbled, smiling all the while.

"OWL!" Thelisi screeched clearly.

"You're getting better." She chuckled.

"Silly Owl!!"

"It is a silly owl sometimes." Athena grinned.

Thelisi giggled. "Silly owl! Silly Athe!"

"If only you could say your own name, you could say 'silly Thelisi."

"Thelllllll… Thelll…" Thelisi screwed his face up in concentration.
