Who wants to role play?

"You never know!" Shadow said.

Arthur didn't answer this time, still trying to process.

"Going to say anything?" Shadow asked.

"I-I don't know what to say…"

"Oh," Shadow said.

Arthur tentatively pressed against the other, a bit cold.

"It'll be okay," Shadow said.

Arthur forced himself to relax, tired, cold, hungry, and dehydrated.

"Need anything?" Shadow asked.

"Food… and a will to live.."

"Okay," Shadow said.

Arthur sighed, snuggling against the other, his tummy rumbling again.

"I'll get food," Shadow said.

Arthur nodded, pulling away to let him go.

Shadow went to hunt.

Arthur curled up under a tree, debating about running away.

Shadow was pretty good at hunting, already having quite a bit of freshly-caught prey.

Arthur lay back, having decided to try it.

Shadow came back.

Arthur tensed, sitting up when he heard pawsteps.

"Hey!" Shadow said.

Arthur flinched at the sudden noise, but tried to smile when the other came back

"I got food," Shadow said.

Arthur's eyes brightened a little at that.

Shadow smiled.

Arthur looked away shyly, shifting and padding up to the other.

Shadow gave him food.

Arthur took one look at him before eating hungrily, not wanting to admit that the catch he'd lost to the other had been the first good one in weeks.

Shadow smiled. He also ate.

Arthur had to force himself not to literally inhale his share.
