Who wants to role play?

"It's true," Shadow said.

Arthur shook his head again, wincing because it still hurt, before shifting and snuggling in the other's arms, trying not to shiver.

"It is," Shadow said.

Arthur sighed, giving him a faint nod, not really up to arguing.

They eventually fell asleep together.

Arthur had only pretended to fall asleep, knowing that memories and nightmares would plague him.

Shadow didn't know this.

Arthur didn't bother trying to escape the other's grip, instead busying himself with small tasks to stay awake.

Hours had eventually passed.

Arthur was still awake, though barely.

Shadow woke up.

Arthur had been about to doze off, though he looked up at the other when he felt his change in breathing.

"Hey," Shadow said.

Arthur stayed quiet, though he had heard him.

"Hello?" Shadow said.

"I'm here.." said Arthur, not sure how else to respond.

"Okay," Shadow said.

Arthur curled further into the other's side.

"It's okay," Shadow said.

"Cold" said Arthur quietly,

"Huh?" Shadow said.

"I'm cold.." said Arthur again, pressing into Shadow, his own thin frame not really producing enough heat for him to stay warm.

"Oh," Shadow said.

Arthur shivered a little, tiredly pressing into the other's side.

"So, did you want to do some-" Shadow started saying, before being cut off by his pack finding them.

Arthur froze when he saw them, trying to shove himself behind Shadow and hide.

"No!" Shadow said.

Arthur whimpered in fear at the loud noise, his eyes wary as he tried to conceal himself behind Shadow.

"I'll get us out of here!" Shadow said.

Arthur was frozen in fear, but his attention snapped to Shadow.
