Arthur had finished just before him, and moved up against him for warmth.

Shadow smiled.

Arthur ignored it, snuggling against him.

Shadow looked at him. "Have I helped at all?"

"Y-yeah…" said Arthur shyly.

"Good," Shadow said.

Arthur sighed, realizing how small he was against the other.

"What?" Shadow asked.

"How can you love someone who can't even hunt for themselves?"

"It's okay," Shadow said. "I can teach you!"

"I know how to…. but I still couldn't…"

"Nonsense!" Shadow said.

Arthur lowered his head submissively.

"You can hunt!" Shadow said.

Arthur sighed, "I rarely catch anything.."

"I'll help you!" Shadow said.

"I should be able to do it for myself.."

"You will soon," Shadow said.

Arthur looked up at him sadly.

"What?" Shadow asked.

"You shouldn't have to take care of me…" he said, "You need somsone who can return it, not be a burden…."

"I would do anything for someone I love," Shadow said.

"I still don't get how you can love a broken wretch like me…"

"Don't say that!" Shadow said.

"But It's true…" said Arthur softly.

"It is not!" Shadow said.

Arthur winced, hiding his face from the other's loud voice.
