Nature
Miyuuki is a rough and hot-blooded youth who demonstrates great loyalty to her comrades.
Her overall behavior could be summed up as being quite childish and carefree. She is a happy teenager but easily gets angry. However, by no means does this imply stupidity, as Miyuuki is capable of countering her opponent's moves under pressure in a life-or-death battle. She is prone to perform a violently straightforward action, regularly catching sneakier enemies by surprise.
Miyuuki is almost as quick-tempered as her father, being quite loud, foul-mouthed, and violent in her outbursts.
Ordinarily, Miyuuki remains the least mature of the team's members, displaying typically child-like actions by expressing random thoughts out loud and occasionally playing around. She is usually the one who slacks off the most during missions.
History
September 11th / 1995
Miyuki ''Yuki'' Strafford is part of the main cast of Norrington’s Desire. A 20-year-old pureblood vampire and the youngest member of V7D, she goes by the codename Famine.
Nicoletta didn’t exactly plan on recruiting Yuki, she just kind of… happened. Their first meeting went down during a supernatural incident at Yuki’s college, where Nicoletta saw firsthand just how dangerous (and ridiculously versatile) she was. But the real recruitment offer didn’t come until later, when Nicoletta caught her trying to rob a convenience store. Or, well… trying to steal the store clerk’s pants. Yeah. It’s exactly as absurd as it sounds.
Don’t let her age fool you—Yuki is a menace. The walking definition of chaotic energy, she’s got a sharp tongue, sharper fangs, and a habit of annoying people just because she can. But as much as she pretends not to care, she’s fiercely loyal to the team. So when Medea joins, bumping their count to a neat and tidy four, Yuki makes it very clear: that’s enough. No more. Try to add another member, and you’ll hear a very irritated vampire hissing about it
Notes
- She was born on Chocolate Day.
- Her nickname, Yuki, was chosen due to being the name of a creepypasta's main character.
Powers/Abilities
VAMPIRISM
As a young pureblood vampire, Miyuki possesses a versatile array of powers typical of her kind, though her relative youth limits their potency compared to older vampires like her father:
FUNCTIONAL IMMORTALITY,
Origin: Biomolecular Vampiric Physiology
Class: Self-Sustaining Regenerative Metabolism
Threat Level: High (scales with blood availability and regenerative demand)
Miyuki’s immortality and regeneration hinge on the bioenergetic and molecular resources provided by blood.
• Blood serves as a complex biochemical reservoir—not merely a source of nutrients but a concentrated vector for cellular energy, molecular signaling factors, and unique enzymes capable of accelerating tissue repair and reversing cellular senescence.
• The quality and volume of blood consumed directly translate into available metabolic energy and raw biological building blocks, enabling rapid cell mitosis, stem cell activation, and molecular repair mechanisms beyond normal human capacity..
Core Capabilities:
Slowed Aging / Cellular Deceleration Modulation:
Rather than granting true immortality or halting time, Miyuki’s body undergoes slow biological aging through a magically assisted regulation of her cellular processes. Her vampiric physiology supports extended youthfulness by significantly delaying aging markers at the molecular level, not erasing them outright.
• The blood she consumes fuels a process of enhanced cellular maintenance, including telomere stabilization, efficient DNA repair, and the periodic removal of accumulated cellular waste. This results in a visibly youthful appearance that lasts far longer than that of a human—but the body still progresses forward, just at a reduced pace.
• Over decades, Youngblood vampires maintain the appearance and physicality of young adults. When their bodies finally reach a certain threshold (biologically, psychologically, or magically), they undergo a rapid and extreme physiological shift into a Highblood state, often overnight, appearing as fully matured adults in their 30s or 40s.
• This transformation is not optional or controllable. It marks a new stage in the vampire life cycle, where slowed aging continues—but now with a more stabilized, mature form.
RAPID REGENERATION / Accelerated Morphogenesis
Wound healing and regeneration are driven by an accelerated version of natural biological morphogenesis—stem cells, fibroblasts, and immune cells multiply and differentiate at hyper-speed under the influence of blood-borne factors.
• Importantly, this regeneration follows biophysical conservation laws: repair requires raw materials (amino acids, iron, oxygen) and energy, all supplied by the blood intake.
• Larger injuries require exponentially more molecular resources, explaining why more critical trauma demands greater feeding volume to supply the necessary building blocks and energy.
Near-Death Recovery / Autonomous Biochemical Override:
Miyuki’s body possesses an intrinsic survival program that activates under critical failure, prioritizing the reconstruction of vital systems in sequence.
• This includes initiating systemic biochemical cascades that preserve remaining functional tissue and slow necrosis, buying time for regenerative processes once blood resources are available.
• However, this program is limited by irreversible physical destruction of vital organs—if the brain or heart is destroyed, the core biological command centers fail, halting regeneration.
Drawbacks:
• Blood Dependency: Immortality is conditional. Without regular replenishment, cellular and systemic repair mechanisms lose fuel and biochemical substrates, causing a progressive decline in physiological function — slower healing, metabolic sluggishness, and eventual torpor-like stasis to conserve remaining resources.
• Vital Organ Limits: The heart and brain act as the primary control hubs and energy distributors; their destruction removes regulatory feedback and biochemical supply lines essential for regeneration.
• Regeneration Cost: More severe injuries impose a nonlinear metabolic cost, with complex wounds requiring coordinated reconstruction of multiple tissue types and signaling pathways, hence more blood is needed to meet these demands..
REGENERATION:
Origin: Bioenergetic Vampiric Morphogenesis
Class: Enhanced Cellular Reconstruction
Threat Level: High (scales with blood availability and injury severity)
Miyuki can recover from extreme physical trauma—including dismemberment and lethal wounds—by rapidly regenerating damaged or destroyed tissues. This regenerative capacity is fueled directly by blood intake.
Core Capabilities:
Limb Restoration:
Severed limbs regrow through a rapid, controlled form of blastema formation—a cluster of pluripotent cells that dedifferentiate at the wound site and proliferate to rebuild complex structures.
• This process is energetically demanding and requires a steady influx of molecular substrates (amino acids, lipids, minerals) and energy (ATP), which Miyuki obtains through her blood intake.
• The regrowth follows a precise developmental blueprint encoded at the cellular level, guided by a supernatural but biologically consistent regeneration program.
Organ Regrowth:
Vital organs regenerate by activating a biochemical cascade that promotes tissue remodeling, angiogenesis (blood vessel regrowth), and differentiation of stem-like cells specialized for organ tissues.
• Blood intake supplies the required oxygen-carrying capacity and nutrients to fuel this organogenesis while sustaining systemic homeostasis.
• Consciousness maintenance during regeneration implies her brain’s neurovascular systems remain functional, allowing neural signaling to orchestrate these complex regrowth processes.
Fatal Wound Recovery:
When sustaining fatal trauma (e.g., impalement, massive flesh loss), Miyuki’s body prioritizes triage and emergency repair to prevent irreversible shock or infection, utilizing blood-borne immunological and regenerative factors.
• The blood acts as a vector for signaling molecules and cellular fuel, enabling accelerated clotting, immune response, and tissue reconstruction to stabilize the injury rapidly.
• Recovery from fatal wounds requires not just cell proliferation but restoration of structural integrity and functionality across multiple tissue types (muscle, nerve, vascular).
Auto-Recovery in Combat:
Minor injuries heal near-instantly via rapid activation of cellular repair pathways (e.g., platelet activation, fibroblast proliferation) fueled by her current blood reserves.
• This near-instantaneous healing conserves vital strength and mobility but is limited by blood availability and injury severity—reflecting a dynamic metabolic allocation trade-off during active combat.
• The system resembles an emergency biological “triage,” where small wounds are patched swiftly to maintain fighting capability, while larger wounds are deferred for later more resource-intensive regrowth.
Drawbacks:
• High Cost of Healing: Large tissue regeneration (e.g., limbs) demands enormous metabolic input—blood acts as both a molecular resource and energy reservoir, so multiple feedings are required to supply the amino acids, iron, and ATP equivalents for reconstructing complex anatomy.
• Vulnerability During Regeneration: Extensive regrowth necessitates redirecting metabolic and neural resources to the healing site, resulting in physical weakness, reduced mobility, and lowered combat effectiveness until structural integrity is restored.
• Feeding Requirement: Blood intake is the essential fuel; without it, the cellular machinery stalls—stem cells enter a quiescent state, immune function drops, and biochemical repair pathways degrade, causing regeneration to slow or stop, increasing vulnerability.
SUPERHUMAN PHYSICALITY
Origin: Vampiric Bioenergetic Augmentation
Class: Enhanced Physical Superhumanity
Threat Level: High (lethal in direct confrontation)
Miyuki's physical prowess is the result of a vampiric enhancement of musculature, neurology, and internal energy systems, all fueled by the vampiric consumption and transmutation of blood into usable kinetic and metabolic force. Her body is a hybrid engine of predatory efficiency and unnatural resilience.
Core Capabilities:
• Enhanced Strength:
Miyuki’s muscles possess hyper-dense myofibrils—far more tightly packed than a human's—allowing for incredible force output in short bursts. Her tendons and bones are similarly reinforced, preventing self-injury under extreme loads.
• Super Speed & Reflexes:
Her nervous system is accelerated through pseudo-electrical neuroconductivity, allowing signal transmission speeds multiple times that of humans. She doesn’t just move fast—she processes faster. Visual, auditory, and kinesthetic stimuli are interpreted almost instantaneously, making her seem prescient in combat.
• Incredible Agility:
Miyuki’s tendons and ligaments contain supernatural elastic proteins—giving her joint rotation and control well beyond normal ranges without dislocation. Combined with fine-tuned proprioception (awareness of body position), she can perform inhuman feats like wall-scaling, ceiling-clinging, or midair acrobatics with predator-like grace.
• Improved Endurance:
Her body can operate at peak output with minimal lactic acid buildup, meaning she can exert herself longer without muscle fatigue. Oxygen is pulled from blood more efficiently due to vampiric hemoglobin that binds oxygen at higher capacity, feeding tissues during extended activity.
Drawbacks:
• Overuse of Physical Power: Each burst of speed, strength, or agility burns through her internal blood reserves. Even though she can go longer than a human, repeated exertion—especially when stacked with injuries—can rapidly push her toward exhaustion. If her body is regenerating while using peak physicality, she risks a critical imbalance—diverting blood energy from healing to action or vice versa. This can cause collapse, tremors, or slowed responses until she feeds again.
SHAPESHIFTING,
Origin: Vampiric Biomass Morphogenesis
Class: Adaptive Physiological Transformation
Threat Level: Moderate to High (context-dependent)
Miyuki's ability to shapeshift is tied to her vampiric biomass manipulation—a mystic process by which her body can reconfigure itself into alternate physiological states using stored blood, latent energy, and a specialized “morphic enzyme” unique to her species. Each form represents a different way of redistributing her mass, instincts, and sensory hierarchy based on supernatural blueprints hard-coded into her curse.
Core Capabilities:
Wolf Form:
Transformation:
Miyuki can transform into a sleek, black wolf, maintaining her vampiric agility and strength while benefiting from the heightened senses and speed of a predator.
Abilities:
In wolf form, Miyuki becomes a creature of quiet movement and quicksilver reflexes. Her already heightened vampiric senses become even more acute, particularly her sense of smell and hearing. She can track enemies by scent, detect heartbeats through walls, and move with uncanny silence. Her speed and maneuverability allow her to close gaps in the blink of an eye or vanish into the environment with ghostlike ease—perfect for scouting missions, ambushes, or evasive escapes..
Drawbacks:
While agile and sharp, this form sacrifices brute force. Her raw physical power is diminished, and her communication becomes strictly nonverbal—limited to gestures, growls, and body language. More instinct-driven than usual, Miyuki must fight to maintain higher reasoning under pressure in this shape.
Swarm of Bats:
Transformation:
Her body disintegrates into a controlled scatter of black bats, each no larger than a fist. These bats operate as a semi-autonomous swarm, linked by a shared awareness that Miyuki maintains through a centralized hive-mind.
Abilities:
This form grants her unparalleled mobility and versatility. The bats can split and reconvene at will, allowing her to slip through tight spaces, encircle threats, or pursue multiple targets at once. She can use them to spy, eavesdrop, and even buffer falls—wrapping around a teammate to soften an impact or catch herself mid-descent like a living parachute. In combat, the swarm can briefly disorient enemies by sheer number, overwhelming visibility and disrupting coordination.
Drawbacks:
The form is less physically powerful. A significant loss of bats—especially in quick succession—can disrupt cohesion and clarity, resulting in confusion or disorientation. Individually, the bats are fragile and susceptible to area-of-effect attacks. Offensive capability is limited, and reassembling the full swarm under duress can be slow and vulnerable.
Mist Form:
Transformation:
Miyuki collapses into vapor—her body unraveling into a drifting, semi-sentient mist, allowing her to slip through bars, cracks, or walls, effectively bypassing physical barriers.
Abilities:
This form is particularly useful for dodging attacks, escaping combat, or evading capture. She can pass through small openings and become nearly invisible in low-light conditions.
Drawbacks: Mist Form is slow and vulnerable to strong winds or fire, both of which can disrupt her shape or dissipate the mist. She cannot interact physically while in this form, and her speed is significantly reduced.
Turning Others — Vampiric Conversion Protocol
Origin: Haemotrophic Soulbound Contagion
Class: Supernatural Biological Transmutation
Threat Level: High (transformational and strategic threat)
Miyuki’s blood contains a potent haemotrophic contagion, a supernatural virus-like agent bound to her soul. When she drains a person near to death, it strips their body of mortal immunological resistance, priming them for transformation. The second step—giving them her blood—introduces the vampiric agent, which floods their system and reboots cellular processes around a new “dark template.” This process turns a human into an Unblooded vampire.
Ghoul Creation — Necrobiotic Reanimation
This process relies on an overdose of Miyuki’s vampiric blood being injected into a fully dead corpse. Unlike Turning, the subject’s soul is already gone—the blood reanimates only the tissue and motor cortex under her will, using her essence as a remote operating system.
Enhanced Senses — Predatory Augmentation
Origin: Vampiric Neural Sensory Enhancement
Class: Superhuman Perceptual Augmentation
Threat Level: Moderate
Miyuki’s vampiric nature allows her sensory organs to operate beyond mortal parameters. Her eyes, ears, and nose are enhanced through hyper-functional neural amplification, where brain regions associated with sensory interpretation are vastly overdeveloped.
• Hearing: Her cochlea and auditory nerves are reinforced to detect micro-vibrations, with brain filters that isolate frequencies like a natural eavesdropping tool.
• Smell: Her olfactory bulb is mutated to rival canines, able to isolate and identify blood type, emotional states (via hormonal shifts), or trace scents even through masking agents.
• Vision: Her retinas contain layered tapetum lucidum structures that bounce photons back through the rods twice—granting her functional night vision even in pitch blackness.
WEAKNESSES:
Vampire-Specific Vulnerabilities:
Sunlight Sensitivity – Bio-Energetic Disruption
Miyuki’s vampiric physiology is tuned to nocturnal bio-resonance. Sunlight—specifically UV and solar radiation in full-spectrum form—acts like a disruptive wave pattern against her cellular structure.
• Think of it like running an engine on the wrong frequency: it doesn’t destroy the machine, but causes serious instability, fatigue, and foggy cognition.
• Her strength, regeneration, and senses are dulled significantly. She feels disoriented, drained, and vaguely ill—a supernatural hangover.
• The longer she remains exposed, the more unstable her powers become—regeneration slows, movement lags, and mental focus blurs.
Home Invitation Rule – Territorial Psychic Field
Occupied residences generate a resonance field of claimed presence—a subtle psychic barrier reinforced by will and routine. Youngblood Vampires like Miyuki are attuned to dominance hierarchies and territory. Entering uninvited clashes with this psychic imprint.
• It doesn’t physically block her, but causes a crippling psychic static, like walking into an invisible wall of shame and dread. It affects balance, perception, and can even cause vomiting or vertigo.
• Drinking the blood of someone who has entered the space links her to their psychic “footprint,” letting her slip through with no resistance.
Garlic Aversion – Olfactory Overstimulation & Biochemical Rejection
Garlic emits sulfuric compounds that clash with the alchemical makeup of vampiric physiology. While not inherently toxic or corrosive to the body, these compounds create a sensory feedback loop that overwhelms the vampire’s neuroreceptors, particularly in those with acute perception like Miyuki.
• For Miyuki, the smell is like high-pitched static and chemical smoke combined. She can’t focus around it and instinctively pulls away, much like a human would recoil from ammonia or tear gas.
• Prolonged exposure may trigger migraines, nausea, or blurred senses. It doesn't injure her—it overloads her perception and nervous system.
Physical Vulnerability – Regeneration Doesn’t Equal Invincibility
Despite her healing factor, Miyuki is not invulnerable. Bullets, blades, and blunt trauma affect her body just as much as they would a human—she just heals faster if she has enough blood.
• Damage stacks fast in prolonged combat, especially against multiple enemies or automatic weapons.
• She can be overwhelmed, staggered, or rendered unconscious—particularly if regeneration has been recently taxed (see: blood dependency).
Strict Kill Protocol – Death-Ritual Integrity Lock
Killing a Youngblood Vampire like Miyuki is locked behind a ritual termination sequence. Her essence is bound to her physical form via multiple anchors (heart, brain, bone ash), and every anchor must be disrupted.
Kill Steps and Internal Mechanics:
Pierce the Heart – Disables core blood-pump regeneration. Stops her from auto-healing or shapeshifting.
Remove the Head – Severs neural control. Necessary to prevent “rogue limb” regeneration.
Burn Both – Incineration destroys the vampiric contagion’s ability to rebuild or reconstitute from remnants.
Scatter the Ashes – Dispels the soul-echo and prevents spiritual anchoring or reformation via external magic/blood ritual.
• Miss a step? It'll regenerate.
