Spinner-Strings is motivated by the pursuit of power. He desires to control the flow of information so that he can rule silently over everything, as the unseen ruler pulling all the strings.

Alongside this, Spinner-Strings is also determined to keep his leader Arach/"Xerxes" appeased, as he needs his approval and resources in order to conduct his machinations freely.

Spinner-Strings is a perfectionist to his core; he doesn't want any loose threads in his grand plan, and will often sabotage himself to get rid of unwanted variables.

Spinner-Strings is prejudiced towards

• Spinner-Strings has decent relations to Xerxes when compared to say his colleagues Gourmantis and Tantalius.
  Spinner-Strings is content to operate in the background and let others handle the work that he can't accomplish on his own.
  This isn't to say that Spinner-Strings is completely loyal to Xerxes, as he is known to operate missions independent from his organization that sometimes contradict the goals of the Intellans.

• Due to Cassandra and Echo directly interfering in his plans multiple times, Spinner-Strings hates them and will find any excuse to permanently dispose of them so that they will cease their truth-seeking.
