Daso is a brilliant marksman. He has a knack for jokes as well.

Daso may seem like he doesn't have a care in the world, but he would do ANYTHING to protect his twin sister and secure a better future for her.

Daso is overconfident, loud, and arrogant, but also insecure, weepy, and hates violence. He's torn between self-doubt and narcissism.

He is cautious towards and typically quick to judge overly religious people, believing that they will use their beliefs to justify wrongdoings, like his parents do.

He loves practicing his marksmanship most often, but he also enjoys gatherings, flirting, hanging out with his sister, and making fun of Tasper.

Daso is a charismatic, fun-loving kid. He's the youngest of Nyir's Chasers, and as such he is often left out of important decisions or babied. He likes attention, but he'd rather share the stage with someone else than be the center of attention. He can be insensitive at times, and somewhat overbearing, but he means well.

Spicy squirrel skewers he and Tasper make whenever they're lucky enough to find a squirrel.

Any ocean animal. He's read about them in books and he thinks they're unreal.

He wields a lightweight longbow. He's got deadly aim and getting to shoot is therapeutic for him.

A frayed rope bracelet hangs around his wrist. He and his sister wove each other the bracelets long ago.

Daso is a Chaser.

Daso is very open-minded and liberal. He wants the best for everyone, regardless of status, even if his wishes are impossible.

Raised Catholic. Since he had less religion-based abuse than his sister, he kept his beliefs, although he dispelled anything he thought his parents were doing wrong.

He has the education required to become a Chaser.

Daso and his twin sister were raised by extremely strict and religious parents. They were abusive and taught them that the dragons all happened for a reason, and that they shouldn't try to stand up and fight. The two of them hide their pain behind bright smiles and laughs, silently vowing to rise and become nothing like their parents. Daso learned to shoot to escape his life, and his sister poured herself into her studies. When he entered Chaser training at an early age, they laughed at him because he was so shaky at Chasing. However, when they saw his skill with a bow, they realized he was actually a prodigy. He graduated at 16, two years earlier than most, and joined Nyir, who recognized his desperation as something she felt all the time. Nowadays, he's on better terms with his parents, and his sister is a researcher.
