Although she helps others on a near-constant basis, she doesn’t come across as a nice person, as she has a tendency to make people worry about her what with her antagonistic reaction to befriending people. Regardless, she is very polite (overwhelmingly so). Jade isn’t necessarily bad at making friends and she doesn’t have social anxiety, as her choice to keep everyone away from her is a conscious decision. When she does make friends, however, she bonds with them easily, so it’s more of a case of whether you’re her best friend or you’ve never spoken to her. The case is more often the latter. She’ll never drop a conversation with someone who has been misinformed/has a "wrong" opinion until they see the truth.

Previous Everlasting, spanned from around 1998 BC China to 1348 England, Black Plague. She was the first successful Everlasting/Life Outlet. Her given name was Fèng Jiayù but she changed it to Vivian when she moved to England because she was being hunted down by those who coveted her immortality. Death was also in need of an Outlet, and she became the first successful Phoenix/Death Outlet, reincarnating every 15 years. She's lived almost everywhere through her reincarnations. Over the years, she realized how emotionally damaging her deaths have been to others, as her friends before she died were also children who would have an extremely difficult time coping in comparison with adults. She changed from an optimistic, friendly girl into a recluse, trying to sever ties with anyone who attempted to befriend her. Jade is her current incarnation. Her past significant selves:
Vivian, a sort of mage because of her immortality (around 500 AD)
Hope, cause of her pyrophobia (burned in the Salem witch trials in 1693)

Although they don't interact too much, Jade finds Zack very... overwhelming. She's amused by his outgoing personality but is also worried about his recklessness. Whenever he tries to talk about being a Life Outlet, she makes sure to cut the conversation short. However, she greatly appreciates him for being her friend- not her best friend, but not a total stranger, as she’s never had someone who knew her but didn’t know her intimately.
