Pushed back constantly by his fingers, sits on top of his head as if it's permanently styled. The truth is he washes his hair like once a month, that's not gel it's grease.

Human; Vietnamese-American.

Tan!!! Like actual golden, warm undertones. Fans are all "doN'T WHITEWASH HIM".

Dark, rich brown, not a speck of anything else.

Big nose that's a cross between snub and aquiline. Almost constantly wearing eye makeup, even when there's no camera.
Has an almost complete lack of eyebrows, so tries to draw those in as often as possible.

Anxiety, un-diagnosed: has a pretty constant stream of intrusive thoughts and terrible self-esteem issues. Feels very insecure as an individual.

Talks with his hands. Drapes himself over someone while they're talking so as to wiggle in on the conversation. Fixes his hair primly.
Sounds like everyone who's from Miami, where even if you don't speak Spanish you sometimes slip into the accent for some reason. Has a deep, DEEP voice, one that heightens in pitch when he laughs or when he sings in that breathy sort of way.

It's cliche, but love. He strives to be well-liked, and dreams of a faceless significant other to whom he means the world. Searches for validation like it's air.

Because of his insecurities, is almost offended by people who get plastic surgery, and sees the practice almost as a sort of cult.

Self-centered and attention-seeking, will sometimes ignore very real and pressing responsibilities to do SOMETHING for attention, whether it's to post a selfie or help/bother someone. He isn't reckless about it but he is relentless, and if he's feeling very bad about himself he won't notice that someone else is having a bad day, and might get offended that they aren't actively providing him with the attention he needs.

Insecure, and has some mental health issues because of it. Some days the compliments just aren't enough, no matter the number. Casey is petulant and feels ignored easily: might search for validation only to be displeased with the result, because it's not the "right" form of validation or not "enough".

Is bad at taking criticism, because he understands it as not living up to expectations: others looking down on him or disliking him, whether it's the real him or who he pretends to be, fills Casey with shame.

Has the most impressive vocal range of the group, as he's been professionally trained the most. Will wipe the floor with you in Mario Kart.
Close to fluent in Spanish! In high school everyone expected him to take Mandarin because he was Asian, and so out of spite he took Spanish, and ended up liking it a lot and being top of his class. Along the same lines, he's very book-smart but has learned to downplay (almost hide) it, due to it being viewed as "uncool" when he was in high school.

Makeup, doing his own and others'. Very popular on Instagram for his selfies and varied makeup LOOKS. Likes watching anime but only in private, and might occasionally pick up a highly recommended fantasy book.

Childish, but most see it as an adorable quality and let it slide easily. Is charming and naïve, open to possibilities but unsure about things like making the "right" choice; curious and talkative, will happily chat for long intervals with strangers and acquaintances alike. Casey is open-minded and eager to learn, to experience new things. Affectionate and cuddly, drowns out the negative thoughts in his head by having someone hold him.

Casey tries very hard to squash his insecurities by appealing to his media image and playing on the "friendly pretty boy" aspect: if you were to tell him that this can come off ingenuine he would only work harder on it. He is, of course, naturally a social butterfly, and a friendly guy: however even he can get exhausted on a tight schedule, and it pains him that he might say the wrong thing, or act the wrong way, if he gives into this more human side of himself. He's an open book despite his best efforts to hide his negativity, and his displeasure or hurt is easy to read even for an outsider.

He does, in fact, realize how flawed he is, and showing that side of himself to fans and even loved ones scares him almost to death: there's nothing that would hurt him more than someone seeing him as ugly and as badly as he sometimes sees himself.

Has the deepest voice in the group, and can hold very long notes.

Left. In high school he found it hard to defend people who were obviously having a hard time or being bullied: he spoke up a couple of times, but not enough, and he still carries a deep regret about that, because he was a popular kid and could have done more. He tries to make up for it now, on social media and in his interactions with fans.

Makeup bag!! Can't live without it. There are days where he won't dare even let his bandmates see him without makeup.

Was one of the popular kids in high school, so his social life took up most of his time, leaving his grades only slightly above average. Got
scouted and joined the band almost immediately after graduating.

Had been taking dance and vocal lessons since childhood, mostly for fun: in his teenage years music became a constant companion and something to rely on when days and weeks got rough.

Grew up in Miami, with three siblings, and two very dotting parents: had never missed out on affection from loved ones, and in fact had grown so used to it that it has since become impossible to live without. High school was a tornado of confusion and the first time Casey discovered that not everyone liked him for who he was: a tall, good-looking guy who "unfortunately" liked gaming and doodling and reading poetry and was genuinely interested in sciences. It was all about rising to the top, being friends with the "right" people, acting the "right" way, going to the "right" social events and parties, never showing weakness for fear that someone might have their phone out, recording. He found solace in Bailey, one of his best friends and girlfriend of three years, who he still keeps in touch with presently: she knew the real him and put up with him and truly cared for him, even when it felt like Casey was losing himself between personas.

Didn't exactly plan on being a celebrity, but he always knew he wanted to work in social environments: he thought of being a diplomat, or a news reporter.

• Was with his best friend, Bailey, for almost three years: ultimately their chemistry was better suited for close friendship, but they took solace in being each others' firsts and the familiarity of their closeness and their routine. Broke it off mutually before Casey got scouted for UMa.


• Has since had small budding crushes and shallow infatuation with people, but nothing that's developed into anything serious (he's actually quite shy and self-conscious when it comes to making the first move, and so never pursued anybody he was attracted to, which lead to the feelings fading away eventually).


• Has presently been pining in secret, and in denial, for Levi for about four months now. Levi can probably tell, and Casey can tell that Levi can probably tell, but the issue remains untouched.

Questioning, has been for quite a few years, but tries to push it down.

• Seems to fluctuate between classy and comfy. Likes button-ups, dress pants, fancy pastel business attire. On the flip side, fun and colorful socks, crocks, neon hoodies, gym shorts and cargo shorts.


• Makeup is always done, eyeliner or smoky eye and/or eyebrows fleeked.

• Noah: The two are clubbing buddies. They both are easily excited and both appreciate beautiful people, so the commonalities make for an easy, pleasant friendship. Noah Araullo




• Leo: The age difference sometimes creates a bit of a divide between the two, but outside work they have a decent sibling-like dynamic. Leo respects Casey as an artist and tries to make him happy in subtle ways, and Casey admires Leo's work ethic and comes to him for general advice, trusting him unconditionally when it comes to logical reasoning. • Ethan: Ethan plays the role of a teasing older brother, and Casey laughs along and doesn't mind most of the time, especially when someone else is the butt of the joke, because Ethan is funny. But sometimes Ethan goes too far, and it grates on Casey's nerves and on his confidence. He often feels that Ethan doesn't take him seriously and this makes Casey trust him less. Ethan Song




• Levi: Levi and Casey have been dancing around each other for months. There's an insecurity about the age difference, on Levi's end, and a general shyness and inexperience with romance on Casey's end: both are very afraid of ruining their friendship. Their senses of humor match up, and they both have a tendency to fluctuate involuntarily between moods: they've become closer in the past year, and trust each other with some of their worst insecurities, and their ugliest secrets. But they're both very aware of being in the public eye, of the importance of their work relationship, and Casey isn't even out yet, barely even to himself. It's slow going. Levi Satou




• Delilah: She's about as close to a best friend that Casey has in the industry. She's the first outside the group to discover his geeky side, and now they regularly watch anime together; she's the first person he comes to for advice on his sexuality, for help on the feelings he's been trying so long to suppress; she loves to let him experiment on her with makeup, with hair, with clothes, loves being his dress-up doll every once in a while. They haven't worked together yet but neither really mind keeping their relationship "clean", unprofessional, and let their creativity blend in different ways. Delilah
