Pierce was originally a very effective combat warrior in the military overlooking a war in Auleria. He took part in 3 major battles. The 3rd one proved to be a sweeping defeat, and a traumatizing event for Pierce, as he lost his arm in combat. When he was deported back to Galekin, he was hailed as a Hero. Now back in Galekin, he decided to pursue an extensive education in robotics and general Engineering. Using what he had learned, he remade his own robotic arm that functioned nearly identical to a human arm. After receiving a Doctorates in Robotics, he settled down alone, wandering Galekin for supplies to keep him going. On one fateful day, he came across a badly wounded Carter, and decided to use his knowledge for good. Thus, earning him a place in the Silvercliff base camp.
