Making people feel good about themselves, making tea, massages, coaxing juicy gossip out of people with her unimposing frame and soft voice, voodoo magic, an excellent cook, she's very brave.

Has a relaxed and chilled position most of the time with an air of confidence without being arrogant. Seems to never blink, this is because she quietly observes people, she has a very analytical nature. Sometimes she randomly compliments people, for example if a woman crossing the street had some killer makeup she would compliment said makeup, she likes to think she made someone's day by doing this, even if she didn't.

If Iris didn't like the practicing of voodoo she would've been a therapist, she compulsively analyses people which can be off-putting and annoying and she finds it difficult to respect other people's boundaries as she can't quite understand why they must care so much. She tries to please everyone and make everyone happy and this can put a lot of pressure on Iris.

Sometimes she finds it difficult to respect those who are weak or fragile, perhaps she has experienced a lot so the concept of people being afraid of something she finds easy is quite alien to her and almost laughable. For example if Hana Takahashi and Iris walked into a room with a gory dead body Hana would throw up and Iris would sigh, then Iris would probably silently judge Hana before moving to the body to investigate it. She's 18 she's allowed her moments of weakness, even as the designated group therapist.

Iris is quite eccentric, but also composed, inquisitive, observant and pragmatic. Her oddness and anomalous behaviour disappears in a crisis, revealing the person hardened by years of practicing a magic which, let's just say, requires a strong stomach. She knows when to have fun and let things go by and when to go to work. All together she seems to be surprisingly together for an 18 year old voodoo practitioner surrounded by angsty teenagers with LOTS of issues. She believes in doing what is kind but sometimes has that gut feeling when she knows she has to do what's necessary.

Blessed with the power of a 5000 year old line of shamans and a grandmother who was one of the many voodooistic Governors of New Orleans (or at least the Aetherean version which I haven't come up with yet :|), Iris Moreau has a lot to live up to, but what she has learned from years of practicing voodoo is to take life as it comes, why bother trying to eclipse her family's success when it's likely that she never could. She's happy with her own little slice of life. She has a very strong bond with her grandmother and learned everything she knows from her. One day she's worried her grandmother's not going to be around to help her.
