Sebastian Kason Brandover is the name that Adeline knows him by, and since he worked for her father, she never bothered to read his file. She thought she knew him well enough.
However, that's not his real name (she still doesn't know what it is a.k.a I haven't thought of one yet) and he's a cousin to Titus and Memphis.

His father's side is a bit ambiguous, but Sebastian's grandmother was Irish, with bright orange hair. This is where Sebastian got his hair color (though it's quite toned down compared to his grandmother's) and honey brown eyes. His mother is Korean Chinese (older sister of Memphis and Titus' mother.)

He doesn't really have a fixed one, but it's longer on top than on the sides, and some of the longer strands form sideburns (if that's the word I'm looking for, because they're not actual sideburns...hmm...) that come above the bottom of his ear

He gets extremely quiet and dazed. He'll just sit in a corner and stare off into space, and anything he says will be random and disjointed. He also has a habit of falling asleep at strange times in weird places.

He gets very still and quiet and clenches his jaw and/or straightens and stiffens his fingers

Sebastian has an avoidant personality. That is, due to his childhood, he copes with things through humor, trying to avoid and downplay the gravity of serious situations rather than dealing with things head-on.

Sebastian's habit of coping with humor can irritate/annoy others and doesn't help solve any problems.
When Sebastian gets angry, he gets ANGRY and he has a hard time controlling himself (which often gets him into trouble)
He can be really selfish at times, concerned more about his well-being and success than others.
Sebastian is easily bored by the daily grind, although it is a relentless sense of duty that keeps him focused with his job.
He never makes solid, long-term plans for the future, sometimes causing him to feel directionless.
His devil-may-care, live-on-the-edge style of living his life sometimes causes him to go to far or behave recklessly. Thus all the scars.

Sebastian is not afraid to be 100% himself, not matter who is watching. He doesn't care what others might think--he's been there, done that.
Since he doesn't stress out about details, it's easy for him to create plans on the fly or go with the flow of things.
He connects very easily with people through his disarming sense of humor and innocent face. He can easily empathize with others and his first instinct is to be there for people who are struggling emotionally rather than try and fix their problems like Adeline does. To him, being nice is always better than being right.
He's extremely observant of others' behaviors and emotions, so he's a good judge of character and this is also part of what makes him so understanding.
Most importantly, Sebastian is not afraid to live.

Sebastian's father once told him that he would never amount to anything, and even though Sebastian's father has never said anything since then, it still remains deep inside him. He wants to prove him wrong.

Sebastian has a deep desire for justice, especially on those who often get away with things (like the Craybons)

Sebastian comes from a rich, well-to-do family, the Thomas family. His father has a German background, and his mother is Korean-Chinese. His household was extremely strict and Sebastian was under a lot of pressure to be the perfect son that his parents wanted; but it didn't matter what he did, he seemed unable to fulfill his father's wishes. Sebastian would always tell himself that he was going to "stop trying to please them and do my own thing" but he could never bring himself to intentionally disappoint his parents. But finally, it grew to be too much, and at the age of sixteen, he joined the Alternate Demons.
The Thomas family was--yes--well-to-do and rich, but they weren't really ever in the spotlight and liked to keep a nice measure of privacy. Sebastian and his father got in a big fight one day and Sebastian just up and left. And since then, they've had little to no contact with one another; Mr. Thomas basically thew his hands up and "let him ruin his own life"

Sebastian is friendly to almost anyone...but he is most relaxed around his close friends, with his typical witty/stupid humor. And sometimes he even goes on bragging monologues...

It's only when he's with people he actually trusts that he feels it's safe to let his guard down and not constantly hide behind a mask of humor. Although he doesn't really open up even to them, he is more vulnerable and real in these moments.

Unless it's someone he really, really hates, Sebastian manages to keep his cool, often continuing to crack jokes to annoy them/ irritate them/ unedge them. He believes it's always better to take time to analyze and plan if possible.

FIRST INTRODUCTION DESCRIPTION:

"Who's after you this time?"

Adeline looked up from her feet in surprise, inches away from the young man who was patiently standing on the porch. Even though she was 5'6 and wearing heels, she had to tilt her head back to meet his brown eyes.

"No one, this time," she said, pushing Sebastian back. "And I think you missed a salon appointment because those dark roots of yours are showing."

"Oh, haha." He rolled his eyes and tugged at the obsidian arrowhead hanging on a chain around his neck. "My hair is completely natural, which you can tell because my eyebrows match, Adeline."

It was an old argument centering around his hair, a deep burnt orange color that reminded Adeline of fall leaves. Sebastian claimed to be part Irish, which she was inclined to believe with his fairer skin and the faintest of freckles scattered under his eyes. But his ethnicity was a bit hard to pinpoint—wide, almond eyes and a round face with softer features that gave him an innocent, child-like look.

Even though he'd been Adeline's best friend since she was fourteen, he'd never said anything about his parents and she'd stopped asking about them because he never answered.

PERSONALITY NOTES:

He is very friendly but does not trust or open up easily
While he doesn't care what others think of him anymore, his own mistakes bother him and he thinks often about what he could have done differently. It's easy to shut others out, but not yourself.
He's big picture oriented and as long as he gets the desired result, he's happy. Unlike Adeline, he doesn't plan everything out to the last detail. Most the time, he doesn't even have one.
Although his emotions guide him more than say, Adeline or Will, his moods are stable. He finds it easy to empathize with people who have gone through things he has not and understands when people are more emotionally driven (once again a direct opposite of Adeline.)
He loves people and being around them, but will seek out quiet spots to take a break and recharge. Here, he sings and plays his guitar, something he loves doing but not when people are around.
Due to his entire childhood being pressure to be perfect, he does perform well under any sort of stress or pressure. Because his parents were so controlling of his every action, he kind of "lives dangerously" and focuses on the here and now. After all, nobody is promised tomorrow. And due to this thinking, he is very affectionate with those he loves or cares about because he believes life is too short not to love.
