Suppressing the memories and forcing herself to "get over" it without dealing with any of her emotions. This results in an inability to move past traumatic instances and causes her to struggle constantly with nightmares and constant waves of strong emotions that she continues to suppress.

Her unwillingness to open up or be vunerable with people hurts the development of her relationships with various people and casts her efforts to comfort/empathize in a less-than-genuine light. And she has a hard time dealing with other people's emotions/emotional needs when she can't even handle her own.

Her fears of messing up results in overthinking and the inability to enjoy the simple things of life.

Since Adeline refuses to face her emotions, she's constantly shoving things down, creating bigger issues later such as depression, insomnia, bitterness, etc. So it will all explode at once, and she'll lash out at people or make incredibly rash/stupid decisions. This also results in an inability to move on or every truly feel at peace.

It's very easy for Adeline to get wrapped up in herself (once again due to the fact that she is incapable of getting past her trauma) and how "terrible" her life is and how much responsibility she has, so she can be insensitive, selfish, and judgemental.

Her stubborn streak is also an issue. She never knows when it's time to give up or when enough is enough; in her mind, nothing is ever good enough.

Adeline is extremely disciplined and when she wants something, she doesn't give up until she has it. She's loyal to a fault, and any promise she makes she will keep, even if doesn't want to.
Since she's dealt with so many fake people in her past, she's direct and honest with people.
Despite how Adeline may come across at times, she really does care for people and would do anything for those she loves. Not only that, but she is protective of those who can't protect themselves (for example, her friend Naomi who gets bullied a lot because she's not rich or pretty.)

Musically and artistically talented

Adeline wants justice for her family and later, for Tommy. Her refusal to deal with her emotins surrounding her father's death has created a hatred towards the Craybons
On an even deeper level, it's almost as if she thinks bringing down the Craybons will somehow fix everything
More simplistically, Adeline wants to feel like she has some control over her life.

Kids like herself who have everything handed to them

Her personality, as so many people have told her she's too uptight, controlling, or unable to connect with. So she feels like no one will actually truly ever like her.

That people don't actually like her for who she is/nobody would like her if they knew the real her

Not telling her parents she loved them before they left that fateful night, and being so wrapped up in herself that she wasn't there with them.
