Despite not being a real human and being aware of their flaws and shortcomings, he has a deep affection for humanity, as he lived among them for a long time now, hiding his true identity. He is rather sociable and well liked, in his personal life and by his peers and subordinates in the NHCTB alike. Besides work he tries to take care of his adoptive son Yasu Fujisaki to the best of his abilities and isn't above asking for advice or help when necessary. While he has been alive for a very long time, he had never taken care of a child before, but managed it somehow and raised the boy from the age of 5 to adulthood. Because Yasu lives together with him, and also started working for the NHCTB, they are still very close.
When Yasus life was in danger during the battle against Erude, he protected him with a magic barrier at the cost of exposing his true identity for a moment. Until then, to him, keeping his nature hidden had priority over peoples lifes.
