As a child, Clancy knew that he could hurt people if he wanted to. Which he did. By using the thread from his bow, he "puppeteers" people into doing things against their will.
"It's a form of enjoyment," said Clancy. "for both me AND the participant ;)." [We were scared by this point, so our interviewers left before anyone became one of Clancy's personal puppets.] These antics continued until he had a niece to care for, Bom. She was disappointed in what he was doing to people, which made him feel like a failed relative to Bom. By the time he was 21, he had a child; Charter, and at age 23, he had Newman. "Charter didn't want to be 'like me' after Bom had told him what I had done," stated Clancy, calling him a 'rogue bastard'. And so, with his second born son, he tried to shelter him from other influences, eventually causing him to become a magician, but unlike his father, actually knows spells. Later through life, he met what appeared to be a confused explosive by the name of Bard. They became best friends, spending almost all their time together. One day, Bard asked, "What is it that you do exactly..?" to which he responded, "Well, I used to entertain people; a magician of sort. 'Stripper Magician.'" "Why was STRIPPER magician your title??" said Bard. *"Wanna find out? ;)"
