Born from a inactive bomb during the Cold War, Bard still possesses the ability to explode through great stress. To prevent that, they were transported to the Empyrean via anomalous means. In the Empyrean he met Clancy, a seemingly nice Cloud Inhabitant. Clancy, on the other hand, couldn't be farther from that than ever. As their "friendship" grew, Bard was starting to realize that Clancy didn't seem as engaged and faithful as they were. Clancy, while caring for Bard, used them for his personal gain more often than not. This eventually caused Bard to confronting Clancy about his actions. Clancy became uneasy and defensive, showing through the weather patterns he had created by emotion. Bard then realized that confronting and not fixing the problem was only going to make things worse. He apologized, but all too late. Clancy had become vicious, trying rip out Bard's fuse, "AND I'LL STRANGLE THE SHIT OUT OF YOU" he said, according to Bard. Being in immense distress, Bard was, quite literally, about to blow their fuse. So, to stop everything, Bard forced Clancy off of them, falling below, into uncharted land.
