Flower Boy's biggest goal is to let everyone live a happy, full life.

It's not that hes bruised easily, but rather the fact he doesnt counteract violence with violence. He simply offers a flower instead.

He has no prejudice. The way he sees it, everyone is equal, and we need to forgive those around us who act or respond in harsh and/or demeaning ways.

In his first life during The Holocaust, he was a young child who planted a sunflower for his mother's birthday but was beaten for stepping out of line. He was then marched into a concentration camp. This child, only 9, had been sent to Auschwitz-Birkenau, only to lose it to the gas chambers. In 1983, when a Cold War scenario took place, he took the entity of a 10-year-old boy. Hearkening back to his love of gardening, he planted 2 carnations: one for himself, and one for his cat, Patches. Running back to his family's bunker, he bruised his face tripping, losing a tooth. When he arrived at the bunker's hatch, it was too heavy to lift on his own, as, on the other side, it was locked. Knowing he would die, he held his cat close, being overcome with radiation, having no choice but to painfully deteriorate. Twice had he lost the game of life. 2 years later, the radiation on the planet had been converted into clean oxygen by a vastly abundant flower species- pink, frilly, sunflowers, bound with the pure spirit of the unfortunate child. From this Floral Explosion grew a tall sunflower. The surrounding dirt shook before rising into the shape of an upstanding column. The soil fell in clumps off of it, revealing a fair-skinned adolescent with bruises and a chipped tooth. Despite these, he seemed to be shaking with happiness, shedding tears of absolute, unadulterated, joy to see that his dream had come true: His flowers, like him, live on despite being struck with misfortune.
