Gouldram
A vast black dragon
The Black Drake, Sun Eater, Father of Drakes, Devourer of Heroes
Appearance
A vast black dragon
beyond mortal measure
He is as big as a small moon. One of the five moons of Sol Saris is the cocoon that holds him at bay
Family
Symbolism
the void between stars, fire, earth/earthquakes
Powers
nigh invulnerability, spewing fire hot enough to melt the planet, an evil lingering flame that is almost impossible to put out, being huge
His exposed heart
missing a scale around his heart.

None, usually by groveling and begging for their lives

Almost never, Gouldram only speaks to those he wishes dead
History
Discovering how to use magic like the HaLafin
Devours many more powerful Drakes absorbing their power
Chaffs under the yoke of the HaLafin so wages a war against them
Loses. A powerful blow was struck upon him cleaving a portion of his accumulated power from him, leaving him vulnerable.
In his weakened state the HaLafin had only disdain for him but saw the chance to strike at his pride instead of his life exiling him from the Astral Plane.
Gouldram slunk to a dark corner of space and formed a protective shell around himself going into a deep sleep planets and moons forming around him.
Not fully healed he now stirs above Sol Saris his sleeping form one of it's moons.
Gouldram would say he has no family.
Whatever creature parented him, he surely ate for it's power.
He would from time to time sire offspring with other Drakes, their names and faces faded away in his memory next to his magnificence
Gouldram started life as a normal drake, except he was much more cunning than the others.
Gouldram feared death, so he learned to cast magic as the high born did
Gouldram was smaller than other drakes, so he was subservient to the bigger drakes
Gouldram was tired of being below others, so he ate the other drakes, until he was the biggest and most powerful of the drakes
Gouldram made war with the high born, a great and terrible battle was fought, many perished
Gouldram was defeated, made lesser, and cast out of the stars
Gouldram waits, bidding his time, ever waiting, the darkness in between the stars
