Overview
Yiga Clan
The Yiga
The Yiga are former members of the Sheikah tribe who defected to Calamity Ganon's side when their home tribe abandoned their technology.
Hierarchy
Besides leader, there are three "ranks": foot-soldiers, archers, and blademasters. The blademasters tend to be stronger, the foot-soldiers are more geared for stealth, and archers are known for their speed.
Locations
Purpose
Their biggest obstacle is Link, the Hero who killed their former leader, Master Kohga, and destroyed their former employer, Calamity Ganon. After Hyrule rebuilt, the Hylian Army became their enemy.
The Yiga were initially created to oppose the Hero and resurrect and aid Calamity Ganon. After Link killed their leader and Ganon went straight, they now endeavor to destroy Hyrule and Ganon both.
They are primarily motivated by revenge against Hyrule, the Sheikah, and Ganon for several different reasons. They hate the Sheikah for turning their backs on technology at the behest of everyone, and despise Hyrule for forcing them to. They hate Ganon the most for betraying them after all that they had done to help him rise back to power.
While they are generally skilled enough to escape death thanks to their formidable magic, they still run the risk of death if their opponent is sufficiently skilled.
Politics
Inventory
The Yiga Clan generally carry nothing but their weapons and scrolls that they use to practice their magic.
