Gerudo Warriors

The military of the Gerudo.

Chieftain>Guard Captain>Captain>Lieutenant>Soldiers

The chieftain is the head general and overseer of the entirety of the military.

The Guard Captain is the head of the chieftain's personal guard.

Underneath the Guard Captain are the officers in charge of the soldiers of the Gerudo'Basso, known as captains.

Each captain has several lieutenants that are in charge of different squads.

Each squad is made up of soldiers of differing qualifications.

The different subsets of the Gerudo'Basso are the archers, the rangers, the artillery, the cavalry, and the footsoldiers. The archers use long-range bows, the rangers are the best with spears, the artillery use the heavy claymores and explosives, the cavalry are mounted on sand seals, and the footsoldiers are the main fighting force who use a combination of spears and scimitars.

The desert is harsh and unforgiving, so each generation of warriors must extensively train to be able to efficiently fight and travel in the sand.

They mainly keep Gerudo safe and protect the tribe.

They are also master builders and are in charge of large constructions.

The Gerudo'Basso exist as the strong arm of the Chiefdom and the Gerudo Tribe as a whole. All they do is in service to the chieftain and the tribe.

In battle, there is always the risk of death, but lately, the Gerudo'Basso have found themselves constantly under siege by bandits as they fight for control of the Gerudo Canyon.

Every soldier carries around her weapon, a water canteen, and a survival pack that contains first aid supplies (bandages, ointments, antidotes, etc.), survival tools, and emergency cooling/warming elixirs.
