Beliefs

Teachings

Domainism holds high the values of balance and equality. It teaches about unity and the strength we have in each other.

Prophecies

One prophecy remains from the time of the gods. After the gods were banished from the Vale by Hex's chaos magic, they left behind four artifacts: The Cloak of Wind, The Circlet of Ice, The Bracers of Fire, and The Pendant of Flowers. The prophecy states that one day, when the time comes to vanquish Hex once and for all, that four heroes from each domain will claim the relics and with their combined power destroy Hex and his chaos once and for all.

Places of worship

Most worship is done privately at home alters or during celebrations. Despite that, buildings dedicated to worship do exist. There are five of these churches in total, one in each of the four Domain capitals and one at the meeting point of the four Domains. Each one is dedicated to that Domain's patron with the one in the center being dedicated to Fae themself.

Worship services

Private worship often includes leaving small offerings and prayer. Festivals and celebrations in honor of the gods are much bigger affairs, promoting the excitement of the general public. These often include games, feasts, music, dancing, storytelling, and more.

Obligations

Those who strictly adhere to Domainism's doctrine are bound to the ideals of balance, justice, and equal treatment of all people.

Vision of paradise

Followers believe that when one dies their spirit joins the gods in Sunrise, but since the banishment of the gods, the door to Sunrise was destroyed (the remains of the door reside in the Court of Fae at the center of the Vale). Until the door is reopened, the spirits of the dead are cursed to dwell in the strange, chaotic, liminal space between death and life.
