members
Action
Roland regularly takes smoke breaks far away from his home so that his daughter wouldn't be exposed, and on one of his breaks, slavers broke into his home and kidnapped Diamond for an easy sell.
Because of his time as a counselor and a judge, it was easy for Roland to figure out that Diamond was kidnapped almost as soon as he made it back home. Because he was recently approached by Prince Sidon about the possibility of helping him and the Champions catch slavers that have cropped up in Akkala, Roland immediately figured out who took his child, and he contacted the Zora Prince immediately.
The CU was immediately dispatched to help Roland, and they quickly figured out that Diamond must have been taken by someone local due to the scarcity of people in the region. A brass button was found at the scene of the crime, and they were able to match it to some suspicious men on the beach nearby Roland's home. Roland hypothesized that the slavers must have been hiding out in the Honorable 24's old Akkala fortress, and the team set out to scope the place out.
At the beach, the team discovered that the secret cliff-side fortress was neigh impenetrable, although they discovered that high in the cliff face were some windows that they managed to slip Dagmar through to do some reconnaissance. Through a misunderstanding, Roland was able to get in without suspicion, because some guards thought that he was a slaving client that their master was expecting with some fast thinking and quick talking.
Inside, Roland found that the entire fortress has been turned into a slave economy, and hat everyone who lived there had at least one slave. The master that he was led to meet turned out to be one of his cousins from the House of Amberrage, and was afraid that he would be caught. Luckily for him, Roland's new appearance and mannerisms were so different than what his family was used to that he was not initially caught, and he was lead down to the slave pens to pick out a purchase. Down there, he found that his cousin was running a sex slavery ring, and that Diamond was freshly branded, but not yet "broken in". Roland managed to strike up a deal with his cousin to purchase his daughter and quietly leave, but things took a turn when Diamond recognized her father and spoke her first word to call him "Daddy", thus breaking his cover.
Dagmar sprung into action to cause a commotion to allow Roland to get away, and Roland decided to use this opportunity to open the gates to let the other Champions in. He was thwarted when a sniper shot him in the leg, and almost killed by his cousin when Dagmar managed to jump in and save him yet again. Roland managed to open the door, and the others came rushing in to the rescue. All was well until Roland's cousin had Diamond held hostage, and all seemed lost until Ozli, whom was originally sent out to ask General Leo for assistance, came in and shot enough assailants to save them. Roland got out with his daughter to find that Dinah had arrived, and she went in to clean everything up.
The Champions were successful in recovering Diamond, but Dinah's method of killing all witnesses caused trouble for everyone when one witness escaped and warned Hyrule of what she and the Champions Unit had done.
