Fashion
Flamboyant, self-centered, and always looking for a good time.
Roland is flamboyantly bisexual and fashionable. He loves good clothes, good wine, and a good fuck, and he has more than enough money to throw around. Whenever he walks into a room, he makes sure that all eyes are on him. Even though he's technically bisexual, the only woman who's bed company he enjoys is his wife. He regularly takes male lovers and is versatile in bed, and he is unashamed of that fact. His motto is "Always be your authentic self", and he has no trouble following his own advice: he talks fast and loud, he wears make-up, and he always dresses to the nines.
Roland is motivated by self-comfort, and always seems to do things that will help him enjoy himself.
Roland is selfish and often does things for his own benefit. He can be bullheaded, and it's difficult to change his mind about something without much difficulty. He doesn't take his job as a judge as seriously as he should, and he's been known to drink in excess and smoke when he's stressed out.

History
Roland was born to Lord Hephaestus Dahl and Lady Elise Dahl in Akkala among the other nobility of the Honorable 24. He grew up in Akkala, and followed his father's footsteps in becoming a counselor of law. He discovered that he was attracted to men when he was 16 and got caught up in a brief affair with someone he only refers to as "The Dandy". This man taught Roland his current lifestyle and flair for fashion, as well as how to be a lover of men, and shaped his personality to this very day. At 23, his father arranged a marriage for him to hide his indiscretions to Herah Elderan when she was only 14 years old, and they married the moment she turned 17. When Hyrule was established, his father was invited to join the Council, and when he died, Roland became the youngest member to hold a seat at 25 years old. Sometime after losing his wife to cancer, he was outed as bisexual, and for knowingly staying married to his infertile wife despite being a Head of House. In turn, he threatened to out several key citizens whom he had sexual relations with, and he became marked for death in retaliation. To escape his fate, Conarith helped him fake his death and move back to Akkala, where he spent the rest of his days.
