he finished up.
It was huge

Nyx sat back and looked approvingly at it. "Nice!"

"and now, for the rest."

"The rest?"

"Of the house? We just finished the foundation…"

(Oh you meant the foundations. I'm so dumb. XD)
"Yeah, what kind of house are we building?"

"The walls, then the interior…"

"I can do the walls."

"I'll do the interior then!"

"Here, what do you want them to be made out of?" They started building away happily.

Nyx, who was still wide-awake despite it being nearly midnight, suggested they grab a snack to celebrate.

(Sorry I disappeared, my fiancé kidnapped me and took me to his apartment, revealing that he'd made us chili)

He grabbed some Cheez-its

Nyx grabbed a pair of Pepsi cans. "To staying up all night!"

He woulda preferred wine, but this would suffice.
"To staying up all night!"

She laughed and popped the tab on hers, but when he didn't take his can, she frowned slightly. "What, do you not like Pepsi? I think I saw Dr. Pepper back there somewhere."

"I… I don't drink sodas… I prefer wine, myself. But this is fine!" He said, taking the Pepsi from her hand.

"You sure?" She tilted her head.

"Yes!"

"I can get you some wine if you want -"

"Don't bother!" He popped the tab and drank a sip.
He slightly scrunched up his face.
"Bitter, yet refreshing." He stated

Nyx raised her eyebrows, smirking slightly. "You don't like it, do you. Here, I'll go get you some wine, and then we can find something else to do." She winked.

"If you insist…" He said

Nyx went into the pantry to find him something, completely unaware that there were different kinds, or, indeed, that wine is usually stored in a wine cellar.

"The wine cellar is downstairs…" He mentioned

Nyx poked her head out of the pantry. "Whaddaya mean, the wine cellar? Isn't it just stored in the pantry? Or the fridge?"

"What am I, a heathen?" He asked. "Wine is stored in a wine cellar.

"Oh, I've heard that phrase before. It's a room where wine is stored, right?" Without waiting for an answer, she looked around. "Where is it?"

"Near the library."
