“It’s not your fault…” Auretta tries to reassure Nori. “You did nothing wrong…” she smiles sadly.

Nori sniffs as memories resurface. He continues stroking her hair, leaning back against the tent. "But… but I feel like I need to do something. I can't just leave you in pain like this." Suddenly, he remembers his abilities. Closing his eyes, he pictures the electricity in Auretta's brain, trying to calm the nerves that made her hurt.

(Ooh, creative!)

Val heads over to the campfire at camp, and starts frying the rabbits. The smell soon starts wafting through the air, reaching Auretta's tent quickly.

Auretta snuggles close to Nori, trying to feel okay so that her friend could be happy. “It’s okay, Nori…I’ll be okay…I always am…” she whispers, not really feeling too much better. She lifts her head slightly. “Food…”

"Hey, you two! Food's ready!" Valerie calls, laughing.

Auretta shakily stands up and leaves the tent. “What did you make?” she asks, hugging herself slightly.

(We should definitely have a private chat with these three-)

Val decides to lie. "Chicken."

(Yeah, lmao! It would be great! Actually, gimme a sec.)

Auretta smirks. “Nice try. There’s no chicken here-“ she laughs.

"Damn. You're right, it's quail." Valerie laughs as well.

Auretta laughs. “Val, I know it’s rabbit. My friends have made it before-“ she tells her.

"Really? I didn't think you'd be the type to eat rabbit." Val grins.

Auretta rolls her eyes. “I actually ate it quite a bit before I ran away…it’s not my favorite but I’ll still eat it,” she admits.

"Ah…" Val sighs, then turns the rabbit into turkey. "That better?"

Auretta nods, smiling softly. “Much better…” she laughs.

Nori helps Auretta over, eagle instincts kicking ini as the rabbit smell grows stronger. He eagerly digs into it with no questions

Auretta soon digs into the turkey, just glad to see some food for once. “Mmm…” she smiles softly. She still feels a bit ill, but she brushes it off for her friends’ sake.

Val sighs, then takes the turkey, splitting it between her and Auretta. "You'll need more fuel now that you have your wings."

Auretta nods. “Plus whatever’s wrong with me…” she sighs. “I really need to figure that out…” she mutters before continuing to eat.

Nori eats like a monster, devouring the meat inhumanly fast. "Damn, that was good. And she isn't kidding about the wings part. Im still starving."

Valerie laughs and goes out to hunt some more. She returns a half hour later with a literal ton of food, cooked and skinned.

Auretta laughs lightly, still eating. “I bet,” she smiles a bit.

Nori's pupils dilate as he tears at the meat with his teeth, not even bothering to eat the cooked ones. He wipes his mouth, looking over at Auretta, and blushes. "Sorry."

Val snorts, then tears into it herself, dividing half of it to Auretta and the rest to her and Nori. Their portions are gone in seconds, and they still aren't full.

Auretta sighs. “Wow…that’s kinda weird-“ she laughs, pressing her hand to her head.

Nori blushes harder. "I… think I'm good now. Thanks, Val."

"Okay!" Val says, then devours what's left. "Damn…" she sighs, laying down.

Auretta lays next to Val, going quiet as she stares at the sky. She seems a little dazed. “Mm…”

Nori tries to keep his stomach from growling, and touches Auretta's hand. "You good?"
