"I mean, I don't necessarily imagine you would. Some things stick a bit differently in your mind than others," Tohru said.
He finished his plate, then got up to take it to the sink.

"Yeah." Golden skies and death. He closed his eyes for a moment, then got up to take care of his plate.

After cleaning his plate, Tohru put it away.
"I'm probably going to try to wind down for the evening," he said, "I wanted to go ahead to that interview early tomorrow, just to get it over with."
"Yeah, alright. I think I might stay up a bit longer, but I'll try not to wake you, alright?" He replied.

"Okay. Even if you do, I don't really care that much," Tohru replied, "but I appreciate the consideration."
He grabbed his sketchbook and went to sit in bed for a bit.
"Alright. Of course." Davin got out his device and started to read, humming faintly to himself.

Tohru started back again at his drawing of Davin. Yet somehow, he found he was doing better now, even from memory. He put a few pencil strokes past some of the lines from earlier, and he erased the mistakes.
Slowly, he found himself nodding off while at work, and he closed the book and set it aside before drifting off finally.
Davin eventually came to bed, being as quiet as possible while he changed into pajamas and crawled under the blankets.

Tohru stirred a bit, but he didn't fully wake. He tugged at the blankets a bit, not quite enough to uncover Davin, but just enough to effectively cocoon himself in. His hair flowed over the pillow and sheets, a bit tangled, but otherwise fine.
Davin smiled softly as he looked over at Tohru, then lay down, tucking the blankets around his body and closing his eyes.

Tohru slept soundly for a few hours, but after that, he kept waking up, with an odd nervous sensation edging its way from his core to his fingertips and toes. He laid there, wide awake. He found himself looking over at Davin, almost as a source of comfort. Yet he wasn't sure the other's presence comforted him. After all, if Tohru hadn't messed up so royally, they wouldn't be here at all.
Davin fell asleep rather easily, and mostly stayed asleep, curled up on his side with his tail wound around his legs.

After laying awake for a while, Tohru got up to get some water, then laid back in bed, unfortunately still wide awake and restless. He looked to Davin again. At least he hadn't accidentally woken him up with all his movement. Tohru rolled over and scrolled through his device.
Davin shifted just a little, but didn't wake up.

Tohru laid awake for a while like that, but eventually fell asleep with his device in his hand still. The glow of the screen went off.

Davin continued to sleep, curled into a ball beneath the blankets, his tail twitching every now and then as he slept.

Tohru awoke with his device still in hand. He moved it to the bedside and untangled himself from the blankets.
Davin was still asleep, though now he was stretched out on his back, his tail still wound hopelessly through his legs and around his ankles.

Tohru got up and went to the bathroom, brushing out his hair meticulously. He tried to keep quiet so he wouldn't wake Davin.
Davin mumbled something as he rolled over again, this time onto his front, sprawled out on the bed with his strangely colored hair falling in curls around his shoulders.

Tohru finished working in the mirror, then went back to get his clothes. He looked over at Davin, who was still asleep, but took his gaze away, feeling a little ashamed still.
Davin eventually awoke, sitting up and stretching. He was wearing a set of loose, linen pajamas, the bottoms only just barely reaching his knee, and the top just a simple t shirt. "Mmph. Mornin'." He said, rubbing his eyes.

"Oh, hey," Tohru said.
He was already fully dressed, and his hair was tied back into its usual low bun. He checked the time.
"Sleep alright?"
He nodded a little. "Mhm. You?" He asked, raising his eyebrows slightly as he looked over at Tohru.

"Yeah, yeah," Tohru replied, "Still got another couple of hours to spare before my interview, too."
"Alright." He stretched, getting out of bed and grabbing his clothes.

"I might go take a walk. Well… actually… hm… Not sure how safe the area is yet. But it is broad daylight," Tohru said, sort of to himself.
He nodded a little, heading into the bathroom to change into his clothes. "Up to you!" He called from inside.

"Eh, if I bring out the blaster, they'll probably back off. I'm tougher than I look," Tohru laughed.
He went to the kitchen to make himself some coffee before he left.
He chuckled quietly. "Yeah." He rubbed at the bandage for a moment before coming out of the bathroom.
