“Nope” Alex cracked a small smile “we’ve only known each other like a day. So no, sadly I don’t know you that much at all.”

"I'd break and just curl up into a ball. I bet you can see why that is."

“Well that’s another one of the many things we have in common” he remarked, taking a sip of his coffee.

"I guess. I think it's creepy how similar we are."

“Maybe we’re clones. Now we have to find out who’s the original” he said jokingly

"Well, one thing for sure is we're not completely the same.

“True…”

"I have a reason why I hate fights…That's the last memory I have of my parents."

“That makes sense…” was all he could think to say.

"…Yea…"

“I’m sorry you had to go through all of this. You didn’t deserve something that terrible.”

"I learned to get past that but I still hate fights…That's never going to change."

“To be honest I’m pretty much afraid of everyone. That’s usually why I stay by myself all the time.”

"That makes sense…I was kinda scared when i met you actually…" He laughed nervously.

He smiled slightly “yeah my awkwardness CAN be pretty scary” he commented jokingly.

"Just people…As I've said. I don't talk to many people…."

“I guess…I’ve just sort of given up on humanity. I don’t really trust in the ‘good of humanity’ anymore”

"…So i guess you won't be able to trust me…" Landyn looked down and stayed quiet.

“Look…Landyn…you’re different, I WANT to trust you. It’s just going to take me awhile.”

"…" He sighs and just kept working on his lyrics drinking his coffee every once in a while.

Alex nervously drank his coffee. He wanted to explain everything but didn’t know how. “Look…it’s not you Landyn. Honestly you seem like an awesome person. I just…have issues okay…”

"I understand…" he didn't say anymore

“Please don’t be upset…” he muttered.

"I'm not."

“I just wanted to be sure…”

He sighed. "Do you need any more coffee?"
