Landyn woke up and noticed what time it was. "Too early…"

Great…it was only 5 in the morning….he sighed, rolling over and praying more sleep would come.

Landyn got up anyways and changed clothes.

Alex lay there, unfortunately wide awake, watching the sun slowly creep into the room.

Landyn grabbed his ukelele and walked to the park again

Finally he gave up on sleep. Remembering Landyn, he quickly grabbed his phone. “Morning”

Landyn messaged instantly.

Alex smiled at his quick response. “I see we both have a habit of getting up way too early.”

I had a nightmare actually…

“We have so many things in common it’s almost scary….” he typed back

Kinda is…Anyways what are you doing?

“Just gave up the battle of trying to go back to sleep so I’m just in bed right now.” He was relieved that Landyn didn’t ask why he was having nightmares.

I'm heading to the park…So quiet right now.

“Be careful.”

Alex smiled at the message. He left his phone by his bed while he quickly got dressed.

Landyn smiled like a dork

Within a few minutes, Alex was ready to leave. “Okay I’m on my way” he quickly sent.

Alex locked the door behind him and made his way to the park.
