"Just wondering." he grabbed his ukelele and noticed it was chipped. "Great…I chipped it when I fell yesterday."

Alex frowned slightly “is it still okay?”

"O-Oh yeah…"

“Well that’s good”

"I guess…"

Alex leaned back in his chair, falling silent.

Landon got up. "I need to use the bathroom."

Alex nodded in response “I promise I won’t run away while you’re gone” he cracked a joke with a smile.

He smiled softly heading to the bathroom.

Alex sat there thinking…’did I say too much???’ He sighed aloud and lightly bit his bottom lip.

As Landyn came back messing with his hoodie sleeve.

Alex caught the motion with his eyes, it could’ve been that he was just washing his hands or….

Landyn sets down and picked up his ukelele sighing. "I'll fix this later…"

“Landyn…do you cut?” He asked quietly. He was probably reading into this too much but he wanted to be sure.

He jumped and didn't say anything.

“Landyn…answer me…please”

"No…" He lied.

“I don’t believe you!” He replied, raising his voice slightly.

Landy flinched. "…" he got up and ran without his instrument.

‘Shit….you’ve done it now’ he thought to himself. “Landyn!” He called after him, already knowing it was pointless.

Landyn sat outside curled up into a ball.

Alex noticed that Landyn had left his stuff behind, including the ukulele and carefully picked it up. Now he just had to find Landyn.

Landyn was crying by a tree. People tried to help but it only made things worse.

Alex ran outside, panic setting in. ‘All your fault, all your fault’ the message repeated in his head. He ran down the street calling Landyn’s name every few feet.

Landyn was being surrounded by people now. "J-Just go away…"

Alex spotted the loud group of people, he went closer. He’d found him. “Landyn!” He yelled, pushing through the people.

He sat there shaking trying to ignore the group of people

“Landyn…” he said breathlessly, having finally reached him. “I’m sorry…”

He curled up even more. "T-Too many people…"

“Come on, lets get out of here. It’s gonna be okay” he whispered reassuringly
