Alex smiled slightly. Too soon, they were back at his apartment building. “This is me I guess.” He remarked sadly.

"…Yeah…ummm…See ya later?"

“Y-yeah” he thought about what they’d both said earlier, about how their worlds revolves around the other. “Listen Landyn, about earlier…I….” he trailed off, his brain telling him to shut up.

He looked at him confused. "You?"

“N-never mind. It’s nothing.” He stuttered quickly, staring at the ground.

"O-Ok…" Landyn sighed. "I should head home…"

“Okay. Is it okay if I text you later?” He asked nervously, wondering if Landyn would still want to talk to him.

"I guess…"

“You don’t have to talk to me if you don’t want to….”

"I-It's not that…"

“W-what’s up?”

"…Nvm…" Landyn started messing with his jacket sleeve again.

“Landyn please…just talk to me”

"…I don't want to screw up our friendship…If I do…You'd hate me…"

"…" Landyn looked away. "You kind of did earlier…"

“W-what?! I-I don’t know what you’re talking about…” Alex exclaimed, legitimately confused.

"I should go…" Landyn said uneasily.

Alex flinched at the yelling, hugging himself protectively. “I-I’m s-s-sorry…” he whimpered.

Landy held his instrument close. 'he won't like you why even try…' He started screaming. 'Face it you be alone forever. EVERYTHING IS YOUR FAULT.'

Alex curled in on himself a bit, taking a step back. “L-L-Landyn” he stuttered fearfully.

Landyn started mumbling. "See he wont..l-like you, you're scaring him…"

Alex didn’t hear him, too busy trying to calm himself down. He was shaking uncontrollably, his eyes wide with fear.

Landyn stood up and walked off not caring about his ukelele anymore. "You deserve more than an insane person…"

‘Your fault, your fault, your fault’ he didn’t want Landyn to leave but…he didn’t want Landyn to see him like this. He didn’t want Landyn to have to deal with his issues. ‘Your stupid trigger ruined everything’

Landyn's ukelele case had a folded up piece of paper sticking out of it.
